*Closed - Winner Announced* Game: What's Your Target

My target for scrapbooking is to finish my Project Life strong...take those photos! Which I've gotten so bad at! Part of that is due to family issue that popped up last month, but also not having much going on socially. I can only take so many photos of flowers. LOL

Honestly, I need to get last October & December printed. I didn't fully understand the budget commitment for printing individual 6x8 pages (I'm usually an 8x8 Shutterfly album during their unlimited pages promo printer) but the pages are all ready to print if we find the money.

Oh, my, I've got 5 great nieces and nephews under 4! and 4 of their scrapbooks aren't finished! They are all in progress - 2 are nearly finished. But my target is to finish them by November 1st and get them printed for Christmas! (Gotta hurry because I feel like the next round of babies is about to commence!

Im taking Aim at getting ready for a major house Spring Clean. Winter is on its way out thankfully.
Getting on with scrapping my Europe Trip, have started but there are so many pics really have to cull some.
And I really want to sort out my very old family photos given to me by Mum and get them catalogued in some way that it makes it easy for me to do some family history pages.

I was at the dr late July and some of my blood results wasn't ok. Nothing much, but my target right now is to get those levels down til the new tests in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure I really can do anything about 2 of the bad tests, but I sure can work on my blood sugar level. Hence: no sugar for me right now.

I just got back from an eleven-day adventure to Alaska, a mix of land and cruising. My goal is to get a photobook done for the trip in time for the Black Friday sales over at Blurb. :-)

Oh, and I took along a travel journal that I wrote in the entire time. I just need to glue in a few pieces of ephemera and add some facts off the internet about what I saw and learned. That goal is for the end of this week.

My target is planning of an 80th birthday party for my sister in law in Oct at our house. It is for about 35 guests. I have arranged for a pizza truck to come to house and got fancy disposable plates at Home Goods but need to figure out photos and how to display them as well as a toast and order a special cake decorated with things about my sister in law

and for scrapbooking my target is continuing to work on my heritage album of old family photos as well as working on my 2025 book

I started the year with the goal to complete my 3 oldest unfinished scrapbooks (2018-2020) by the end of the year. I started out the year with 67 pages left to do in those 3 books, and I'm down to 36 pages left! Plus I've scrapped 60 usable pages this year, so I'm making progress on more recent books also!

My initial focus (past the hen weekend for my daughter this weekend) is to find an outfit for her wedding which is coming up fast - middle of October. I have already crossed the hair appointment off the list as I went yesterday for cut and colour and have booked an appointment just prior to the wedding for a re-boot!. It seems a very trivial goal compared to many of the others on this thread, but, trust me, my daughter is very concerned that I get this covered soon rather than leaving it to the last minute which is my normal mode of action. I should explain that, given that I am obese, clothes shopping is anxiety inducing and not at all fun.

My current target is to read more. I miss it so much but I'm finding that the older I get, the less my eyes want to stay up as late as I used to.

Good luck! You can do it! I have fallen back in love with reading this year and it's so wonderful. My best tip: quit social media. I know, I keep bringing it up, but it's been such an amazing stress relief. My brain has healed, and I can really focus on longer texts now. Stepping down from my soap box now.

I really do need to drop social media for my mental health. That will be a goal, too.

Like many of you, I have goals to eat healthy, move more, lose weight, etc. Since I have not done well in these areas in the past, it's proving to be quite a learning curve! Takes up a lot of brain energy, too.
As for scrapping goals I need to finish up scanning the print photos in albums before all those wonderful reminders fade completely. I think I'm up to early to mid-eighties now. Still a way to go!

We are getting our farm up and going and the main goal right now is to get a family dairy cow. I think we are almost there - Monday I will know for sure. Taking a few crash courses on keeping a dairy cow as well as getting the farm ready for her and her possible to-be summer calf, will be what our family & I will be working on, for the next couple of months.

For scrapping I hope to catch up on my design work and get ahead. Since moving I have stayed pretty behind on all of it. I am still hopeful tho one day I will be able to get ahead of things. I also want to finish up all the challenges here at the Summer Camp for August. I have been enjoying sharpening my layout skills - so it's been a lot of fun!

Having gotten behind and only just finished last week's challenges, my primary target is to get Week 8 of Summer Camp done. (my cat decided to get between me and the monitor every time I sat down to scrap over the last few days -- or at least on the days she wasn't hiding from my grandson. Had some extra time with my daughter and him as her AC went out and they ended up spending an afternoon and night here. It was nice, but glad to have the "disorganization" back in order.)

On a personal level, I need to bring in some mirrors I bought for my bathroom so I can look at how they need to be hung. Along with that is prepping my bathroom for a coat of paint, but I think I have to wait until it gets a bit cooler here.

My aim right now is preparing for our vacation in Spain. We will be leaving on August 31th, and I really need this vacation that we almost canceled because of some problems that appeared a few weeks ago.
And my second aim is to finish Summer Camp before leaving.
