Welcome to Week 8 of Summer Camp! Hope you all are having the best time! I'm super happy to be here hosting a game for this week - What's Your Target?
Target 3.jpg

We all have something we’re aiming for! What’s your bullseye these days? Is it creating more? Organizing your stash? Mastering a new technique? Share what you’re aiming to hit, and let’s cheer each other on!

How to play:

  • Share what your personal “bullseye” is — in life, creativity, or even what you're aiming for with scrapbooking. Anything goes - What's your target?
Deadline:
Enter by September 3 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Be sure to log your progress in your individual tracking thread within Summer Camp 2025 - Layouts & Game Links if you are wanting to participate in the additional prizes.

Prize:
One random winner will be selected from the eligible entries to receive a $5 Lilypad gift certificate.

My current aim is to get my fitness level back up post injury and post surgery . The first part is to get my daily walk back up to 2 km by the end of the summer. I made my midway point aim of 1km prior to my daughter's uni graduation in early July. This morning I managed 1 3/4 km although I was struggling a bit by the time I got home. I'll stick at that distance for the rest of the week, but think I should be on target to reach my goal.

My target is to complete my Best Of Britain trip book from last November .. I am on Thursday now with lots of pages already done (135 done) and have 4 more days of the trip to still scrap. I hope to get a few pages knocked out by the weekend.

Awesome.. Glad you are building up to it. You can do it!!!

My target is to start going to the gym again in September to continue getting back into shape. It's always difficult during the summer months because my gym is closed for holidays.
As for scrapbooking, my target is to finish Summer Camp and leave more love in the gallery.

My daughter wants us all to get "Disney Fit" for her 40th birthday in and year and half. I agree. I'd like to go to Disney and not be in pain at the end of the day. I'm still recovering from my partial knee replacement on May 5th. I'm doing well but had a setback in June.

My current target right now is to get back to my Monday morning Zoom strength exercise classes. I've missed since the middle of July and its so hard to get back into the habit. And I can't make today because of previous commitments, so going to make a special effort next Monday to go back to the classes.

My scrapbooking target is to finish Summer Camp strong by September 3.
My life target, as it is much of the time, is to continue what I call Opportunistic Decluttering. Yesterday's example happened while I was searching for a book that I wanted to read for my 52 Book Club's Connections Reading Challenge. Now I have a large box of discards (& a few duplicates) of books to sell/donate. There may be a layout within this post.

I have a LOT going on right now with family so my scrapbooking has taken a backseat. My goal is simply to get thoughts and activities down in my on-line journal so that I will have them ready when I have more time. If I think about all the pages I meant to get done this year, it is very overwhelming.

One of those family events is my daughter's wedding in June!

Targeting: get caught up on scrapbooking my travel photos. Right now I'm at the end of '23 so I still have a long way to go. Eat right, more strength exercises and get in better overall shape. Making plans to escape the heat and humidity. Targeting cooler weather.

What's your target?
-personally: move more, eat cleaner
-professionally: figure out a way to 'retire' from clinical hygiene
-scrapbooking: Finish summer camp here strong! With a Senior in high school this year, I'm starting to think about what to make for her senior year party, grad cards, etc etc.
