Chat: Getting Ready for MOC

Hey girls! SO nice to see all your smiley faces here again! I'm just rushing through the Dec challenges, gearing up for MOC! I don't know how you American girls do this in 'normal time'! I couldn't do it if it wasn't for our long Summer holiday! I LOVE that I can scrap EVERY day! :) I've been missing in action as I went back to School (to study a BA Theo) full time in July (which involves a two hour commute one way am, but only 30 mins off peak home pm) and was working four part time jobs as well as being a wife and mother! SO my life was somewhat too busy to scrapbook or chat online!!!

I don't go back to school for Second Semester till March now and have finished up two of the part time jobs, so life is a breeze now in comparison! :) Looking forward to scrapping and chatting with you all again! :)

Another good tip was, if you get stuck on a layout. Go to the next challenge and come back to it later. That way you aren't stressing about the time limit and stepping away sometimes gives you a fresh outlook on it.

You are so right Kim! We all really want to like all our own pages but sometimes a challenge just doesn't grab me or I really have to think hard about visualizing it, so it comes down to ..."Done" is good enough once in a while. I learned my lesson with that doing Project Life.

The best thing I did last year and the year before was to get a notification when a new challenge is posted. It was great to get that email first thing in the morning. Is the forum thread hidden now? I thought I would set that up and can’t find it.
 
What time do the daily challenges get put up and where about will they be posted? So excited to get started.

There will be a forum dedicated to MOC and the challenges will be posted sometime between 12am and 8am EST each day. It depends on where in the world the host lives and how soon they can get it posted. Love the excitement!!

It is! and oh my gosh, I am gonna stay up all night, this is my favorite evening of scrap, next to the chat after it is over and the new polly announced...
