Catching Up

So far, I'm staying caught up and really need to stay that way as hubby has pre-surgery tests on the 23rd and then surgery on the 25th. He's expected to be in the hospital for 4 days. Hopefully, I will still be able to finish.
 
I'm 13 behind!! Arghh! I had to go away for work and thought I would scrap in the evenings, but no chance! I started this hoping I would finish but not minding if I didn't. I've scrapped a lot more pages than I would have without MOC, so I'm calling myself a winner.
I can shout myself a voucher if I need to :giggle
 
Ugh. The dispersion challenge DEFINITELY bit me in the butt! I'm still thinking it through... it doesn't help that I can't just "slap" a layout together and be good with it :/ Also, working full-time for the first time in 4 years and with my husband gone for this past week... yeah. I'm hoping I can push myself and get caught up! Don't even want to count how many I need to do to catch up!! :D

You and me both! I skipped that to wait for a day where I’ll have time to be frustrated but not quit.

We also tossed an unplanned 5 day trip into the mix (Go Vikings!!). So when I get home on Tuesday it will be speedy scrapping at my house. I’m planning ahead by choosing photos and kits to use while I’m gone which I hope helps. I also read a great tip about doing multiple pages from one kit which I’m going to try.
 
I know doubles make some people run away in fear!
But last night I completed two challenges in about 15 minutes more than 1 by doing a double. What takes me the longest is photos and kit picking. So, a double saved me that time since I used the same kit, and had the 'extra' photos ready for the second page.
I picked #18 recipe to combine with #11 On This Day. 1 needed a single photo and one needed journaling. Because they didn't need the same things, it was easy to make a page that flowed, then divide it- 1 half per challenge!
 
I've just caught up. Managed 6 layouts today. Yey!

Still probably not going to finish since I'll be induced on the 31st (if I've not already given birth that is) but every page scrapped is a small victory. Plus the challenges are keeping me somewhat sane while I wait for them to make their appearance!
 
im so excited as of just now im caught up, and honestly its not even that ... i have been SCRAPPING and LOVING it and been happy and enjoying the process and loving feeling challenged, and so happy with LOs.

Im so excited about how much i have been enjoying the process im sad thinking about February once its over!
