If you've been on instagram over the last week, chances are you've seen the Best Nine or Top Nine posts where an app looks at what you've posted over the last year and gives you your nine most viewed posts from the year in a neat little 3x3 grid graphic.
The Best Nine app seems to give you the option of which year to sort through and the ability to set your own range, whereas the Top Nine one automatically selected from 2019 posts only.
I only post layouts to social media and don't necessarily understand why some of my pages get more views than others, but I've done a few Top Nine's and find them interesting. I was going to post my top 9 to my instagram tonight but social media is not my friend at the moment, I can't pin from the gallery here or anything so I don't know what's up, but anyway I figured I could share it here (I used the Top Nine app and because technology was not my friend tonight, I sent the png the app gave me to my Dropbox, downloaded it to my computer, tried to open it in Photoshop but it didn't like the png for some reason and then i ended up resizing it in 'Paint' so I could add it into the 'upload a file' under the post here, bypassing the gallery.... and yes, I'm getting to this point
but I'm sure someone here will know a clever (and probably obvious) workaround for the whole thing!)
So after all that, here's mine for 2019 -
Of these pages, I think the 'pi day' one making it into the top 9 for the year most surprised me because I thought that was more of a geeky, quirky day rather than an expected celebration day; that and the Morning, Noon and Night page - i'm surprised my documenting the very normal and mundane, which I only did honestly because it was for a challenge, was interesting to others. And then I start to wonder whether it's less about theme and more about style - I do still love that SWL template with the two semi circles, and also the cleaner blocked look with the post-it notes. Disney, beachy and travel pages have made my top nine for the last few years so the others don't really surprise me.
Anyway, I'd love to see if you have a top 9 or Best 9 (and if you have a quick way of getting it into this thread, please share!) Also, if you want to play along too and don't use instagram or social media (which I completely understand right now because it can feel a bit like this
) , feel free to look through your gallery here and pop in your favourite layout of this year using the handy " Share BB
bracket IMG bracket code " - where the brackets are square because it didn't like me pasting that ... i think i'm giving up on technology tonight and gonna go read a book

(& did you paint a birds nest on that chair (top left)?! Looks fantastic although I think it'd mess with our resident birds mind!
