As if Target wasn't enough...ugh Michaels

I've already had my card changed twice-once because the bank did it, the second time because I forgot all about a bill I had paid but not notated! I think I also got an email alert from Michael's, but I'm not sure.
 
We have had our cards changed already. They sent DH a new card after the Target issue and a new card to me right after the Michael's one. Total pain in the butt!!!
 
I had heard that Wal-Mart also had a major security breach right around the same time as Target, but they kept it hush hush, so I think that is why some banks have to keep reissuing cards.
 
Thank you for posting a link to the stores. And yes, mine were on there. I *think* I shopped after the dates listed but have to go log on and check on the bank website. I had my card information stolen and used from the Target breach. At that time, I had just gotten a new card because of the same thing happening over the summer. I think checks are looking more attractive nowadays. :/

Got to say even though these issues dont affect me Im glad I carry cash
