@carilyne I probably should have put 2016 in the title (I might do that after I finish this post, if I can). I kept opening up last year's post thinking it was about this year :-/ I didn't intend for mine to go this way, but so far, I'm finding my journaling for this week to be therapy that I didn't know I needed! I've been rereading Ali's posts and realizing that this is my project. My PL book has journaling that's a little more "neutral" because I view it as a family book, from my perspective. I'm taking back a WITL this year as mine. I may do it differently next year, but this is what I need for this year. All that to say.... I think your idea to focus on journaling and art as therapy is a great approach to a WITL.
So what I'm doing is going well... what I can't wrap my head around at the moment is what I'm doing with it all. I adore the 6x8 size and shape, but I really want to keep this simple as a bound book. A square book (either 8x8 or 10x10) from Shutterfly is the best bet, but I so need a switch up from my usual square scrapping format. Oh well... I think I'm just going to have to get over and scrap square! Since I'm keeping things simple, I really want to get started with laying things out.... but can't until I make this decision!
