Welcome everyone! To one more year of the "12 Days of Art Journaling"!!!! I am super excited to be your host again! This year I am trying to not let the holidays bring me down with stress, so I present to you the "12 Days of Art Journaling WITH A FUN TWIST!" This year we will be more relax and your challenges will have a twist if you wish to fulfill those. (That means you can go ahead and let yourself be inspired by the true lyrics of the 12 Days of Christmas song or you can choose to do the TWIST.... or you can do both if you feel the NEED to create! Remember we are super open to what we call art journaling here in this board, so if your art journal page doesn't look very artsy or messy that is 100% PERFECT TOO! Don't let it stress you out, ok? Are you ready to start? TWIST: On the 2nd day of Christmas some true friends send good wishes, to help out with the holiday dishes!! For some reason, all I could think of was stacked dishes to wash... And yes, good friends would help do the dishes.
All I could think about was this cooking show where the host (who always had a celebrity over to share a recipe) always drank half the "cooking wine" during the cooking, . It was a perpetual joke amongst the audience.
@Dalis, I'm challenging myself to make something out of your twist this year. Not sure how successful I'll be, but that's my plan right now. Actually, if at all possible, I'm including a hint of the traditional too.
that's fun, now if I had time to play it would be awesome. I still haven't pulled my tree out of the basement!
My mind went on a wonderful trip back through time to some of the folks who introduced to me to holiday/traditional foods I still love today.
I'm going with the traditional 12 days. "Not a creature was stirring..." I think maybe the mouse WAS stirring.
