It's hard to be in lockdown, but look at the alternative: over 662,000 dead in the US. People, whose own parents once earnestly lined up their kids for the *new* polio vax, now happily go about their business unmasked and unvaxxed, unconcerned whether their breath could sicken, or even kill, someone else. I'd have loved a couple indeterminate-length lockdowns over what we got here.
also...won't be done too soon. I know you guys had it easier 1st year or so than us, but the pandemic is far from over, here they will (at least promise) have a huge plan to protect people for winter,
think we have another year or so, providing people start thinking common sense and get vaccinated, use masks when possible... huge huggzz to you my lovely!
I'm fine, I'd much rather be in a lockdown than have Covid rampant for sure. I think its just the fact we are the last region to still be locked down and I have potential opportunities that can't be actioned until we are in alert level 2 because it requires crossing regional boundaries (we are currently at level 4, coming out of hard lockdown only gets us to level 3)
@SeattleSheri basically only going out for groceries, doctors, chemists, COVID testing and vaccinations. Hoping mid next week things will ease and we can do takeout as well as click & collect. More importantly it will mean for my family that my grandma can move into the retirement village and family no longer have to provide 24/7 care.
