White is the easiest to create. Black is too hard to see. Don't overthink it. It will zap your energy and brainpower. You can do this!

@Carla, I agree, white is/was my first choice but I'm struggling on how to scrap it without the contrast of both black & white together or white with another color

Look at some of the others that are done in all white, naybe it will give you some ideas. There are many shades and textures of white. Sometimes it just takes a bit heavier shadow to make it work right.

I haven't found anything except an alpha I want to use which is probably 90% of my problem...also the type of photos i want to scrap don't have a tonne of embellishments anyway

Hang in there Jennifer! I know you will crush this challenge when the mojo flows ... maybe do one of the other challenges while you think on it.
