This can be my hair too. The dirtier it gets the bigger it gets. It always tickles me when someone compliments my 'big hair' and they have no idea how dirty it might be. Actually, it might just be 4 days since I washed it but ...I know. I'm also blessed to have my father's thick hair as my mother had thin hair. Unless I have chemo, it's unlikely I'll ever go bald.
I'm about 40 pounds heavier (my face is fatter), but yeah, I pretty much look the same. Although when I'm out, I wear glasses.
wootie woo, it was Veteran's Day last November, and my hair was cooperating..bhahhaha..but I love love the 4th of July so wanted to add some pizazz to my avatar! big ol' teeth
I've been on vacation and am just now seeing this! I absolutely love the cut Sarah! Now to convince Isabelle to go this short.
What a great thread - this is awesome to hear who thinks the pic is accurate and who not! I would say mine is fairly close - my hair is a bit more blond right now, and I don't curl it more than once a week - it is generally pin straight, but I don't think my face has changed much. This is a goo reminder though that I should work on an update selfie photo!
Mine's from June 11, so ...yeah, that's me. Lol. I had only been out of the hospital for 4 days. It was my best friend's son's wedding and since we've been besties for 36 years, I had to go or I would have never forgiven myself.
Apparently I look like @amandac's avatar... (https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/i-had-a-tlp-real-life-meet-up.43731/) and that's fine with me!
My avatar is me. It's a selfie and I didn't like the way it turned out, because my gray hairs are sticking out at different angles than my dark ones and it reminds me of a chicken that is between fluff and feathers. LOL I don't post often, so I try to use an avatar that looks like me so that it *might* be familiar to people (and remembered as friendly-looking? ) when it appears, even if I change it.
