I'm a sucker for a really good plain white paper with a bit of texture or interest
    [IMG]
    Fave BYOC month & product

Normally I'm not a big buyer of BYOC products in October/November but I absolutely love the colour scheme and variety of options within the October 2024 BYOC offering.
As far as fave item, it's from January 2017 - such a versatile alpha
    [IMG]

Most used tool or technique (please specify program as well)
I typically don't use a lot of tools or shortcuts....either Photoshop Elements 15 doesn't have them or I just don't think to use them. The one exception is shadow styles....I don't have the patience to shadow everything individually even when I had PSCC but if someone else has done the work for me I'm keen! My go to shadow style set is

I don't typically buy many of my fonts but the latest one I'm loving is The Sophia

I really don't keep track of BYOC that much, but I liked the colors of March '24. And from that - Rachel's fantastic Yugen:

    1. Fave Layout (doesn't have to be recent)
Had to search a way back in my gallery, but this one. I did this for a speed scrap. Totally different from my usual type of page, but I love the colours and the techniques I used. Bittersweet as my gorgeous boy Stewie died a couple of weeks ago.

    2. Fave product currently in store. Really? How to choose?! Well I went with this one in the end as it's perfect for so many of the photos for my two daughters birthdays as teens. I rarely buy full collections, but this one I did.

    3. Fave BYOC month & product

    Month
Looking at my products January 2023 saw me buy a lot of the goodies so I'm going with that one.

Product - January 2025 Blooming Beginnings - If you can swoon at a product, then this is what I did when I saw these cards. They were an immediate purchase, no second thoughts at all! I need to get a printer so I can print some of them and display at home (the bird ones especially).

    4. Most used tool or technique (please specify program as well)Mommyish realistic shadow styles
And when they don't fit, I also use the wave shadowing tutorial @tanteva mentioned (I use PSE). This tutorial from the blog: Shadowing Wave

    5. Fave font
This varies depending on the theme and tone of the page, but I love the Pea Bhea Regular and Pea Bhea Script fonts from the Kevin and Amanda site and I use them fairly regularly. This page uses the Pea Bhea Regular font

    2. Fave product currently in store Probably the Of Wishes, Hopes, and Dreams collab. I have used it for so many projects

    3. Fave BYOC month & product October 2023 had the most perfect purples. As for favorite product, I can't pick a fave but I can say I have made a bunch of pages with Primaveral by ninigoesdigi

    4. Most used tool or technique (please specify program as well) I have an old vellum style from Mommyish that I use on almost every layout. (The file name is mommyish_style_vellum&light)

PSCC along with my own shadow set and scripts for ease of use.

    5. Fave font
Currently I've been using a lot of plan sans serifs through Adobe fonts. Nothing specific, I just go with what feels right at the time.

    1. Fave Layout (doesn't have to be recent) - Hard to choose, but this one is one of my favorites:

    2. Fave product currently in store - I am a sucker for those dimensional flowers
    [IMG]

    3. Fave BYOC month & product - May 2024
    [IMG]

    4. Most used tool or technique (please specify program as well)
The most used technique is the shadowing, witch I make for every single element, but one of the technics that I love and use a lot is the blending of the photo in the bg paper, or paint to paper, or paper to paper. I make this with Gimp, as the software I use for scrapbooking (Corel) doesn't have those tools.

    5. Fave font - I have a lot of fonts and I use them as I feel in that moment. But one that I love is Aoutoory Dragon.

Here are your five scrappy questions....
    1. Fave Layout (doesn't have to be recent)- This might be one of my all time favorites! I just started throwing all sorts of stuff on the page and ended up using it for the last page of her 12th grade scrapbook. I've created both my kids one book per grade and this was the ultimate final page!! (and also she loved that I used the word art "big a55 dreams" hahahaha

    2. Fave product currently in store - such a hard choice!
I guess I'll say this is one I've used a lot lately!!

    3. Fave BYOC month & product - can I say I don't actually look at these? lol. I struggle combining kits though I know that's the point of these! I usually just find something I like regardless of whether it's BYOC or not. But I'd probably say this is one of my all time fav BYOC products:

    4. Most used tool or technique (please specify program as well) - I use Artisan, so I don't really use tools from here, but my favorite technique is to add borders to all my photos!

    5. Fave font - honestly I don't have one! I usually default to Arial. which is the default on my program. haha

You always ask the BEST questions, @littlekiwi !

Fave Layout (doesn't have to be recent) --I restricted myself to the last year! Every one of my favorites seems to be a scraplift, including this one! Just take it as a compliment when I scraplift you! LOL

Fave product currently in store: Joyce's Petal & Pawprints; love her little animals in this kit and the pretty floral prints!

Fave BYOC month & product:d This is a tough question since I was the 2023 winner of a year of BYOC during MOC, but was never notified. Then I noticed, IN 2024, that my user name was spelled wrong on the winner's list the year before! So, the team let me have the prize in 2024! What an amazing gift! So, I have soooo much BYOC, but I'm going to pick January 2025. I keep dipping into it for sure!

My favorite part of it is the Nic & Joy Weeks of Memory templates! It's my second time doing Project Life and it's been fun with these.

Most used tool or technique (please specify program as well): I use Adobe Photoshop 2025, and I suppose my most used tool is drop shadow styles. I have some I got when I purchased the Scrapaneers' Champions Subscription of Challenges, Kits and Tutorials a long time ago, and I've got some of Cheryl's from Fiddle-dee-dee Designs.

Fave font: This depends on the week, doesn't it? Right now, it's The Dry Ribbon by Heather Joyce.

Thanks, I will happily admit that I don't come up with all of the questions on my own each week - some are based on real life stuff & others I do some googling to help me. I actually thought of these a few weeks ago but saved them for NSD instead.

    1. Fave Layout I can't really pick a favorite layout any more than I can pick a favorite child, but for the sake of this activity, here's one I especially liked this year so far. [IMG]
    2. Fave product currently in store I always love words. [IMG]
    3. Fave BYOC month & product I've used a lot of January 2025. [IMG]
    4. Most used tool or technique (please specify program as well) I love using photo masks like these. I use Photoshop.[IMG]
    5. Fave font KG Love Somebody, which I thought I got here, but I can't find it, so here's a screenshot from my Photoshop Screenshot 2025-05-02 at 7.03.14 PM.png

    Question #1 : Fave Layout

*That is a hard one for me to choose...I am proud of all the grief layouts that I did, with each one having a profound effect on me and my ability to learn how to process my grief and loss...But recently,I created a new layout for the April 2025 Scraplift Challenge...called "Looking For The Sun" and it was nominated for a GSO and it was featured on The Lilypad Blog for April's - Scraplifted layouts...It was a very proud moment for me...It's been awhile for me to have those things happen...So,I will choose that layout :

Question #2 : Fav Product currently in the store : There are so many I love...but this one really speaks to me right now...

    upload_2025-5-3_19-23-47.jpeg

Question #3 : Fav BYOC Product and Month...Really?...I will have to give that some more thought...I really haven't been able to shop very much especially for BYOC Collections...because I haven't been able to afford to do so...But,I do certainly have some favorite ones that I have purchased in the past...but picking just one is almost impossible...So,I decided to go with...

***Art In Simplicity | Photo Ready Kit 3 by Rachel Jefferies...because I have found myself using this over & over again...The templates, the papers & all of those really cute elements...And I am not a template girl at all...but these speak to me...I especially love that little owl, which I have used in several layouts...

Question #4. Most used Too or Technique...Easy Peasy...One by Mommyish...I used this product in almost every layout I create...

Question #5 : Fav Font :...Impossible to choose...I go with what works for each layout...but,I do like typewriter type fonts the best...Lately,I have been using Myriad Pro Bold with it's different versions...

Fave layout (or one of them):
Fave product in the store: I really can't single one out but it would probably be one of the many fantastic Lynn Grieveson - Rachel Jefferies collab kits!
Fave BYOC month & product: I remember when I first started here I would buy 2 kits and a template set each month from the BYOC so I could do the challenge. Now I buy almost everything each month and every month is my new favorite. This month I'd say my favorite is a tie between Rachel's Lived In collection and Lynn's Happy Place collection.
Most used tool/technique: I use Artisan 6 and the tool I find the most handy is the Photo Auto Fix which gives you about a dozen options for adjusting your photo that you can play with before making your final selection.
Fave font: I have a gazillion fonts but I tend to use Almondia for print text and I like using Belly Betty for script text.

Favorite layout - well, one of them. Hard to pick just one.
Favorite current product - I love collabs there are always so many fun and diverse elements.
Favorite BYOC - again so hard to narrow down but this is one of my faves.
Favorite tool/ technique - I like to use the warp tool in photoshop on some of my shadows to make some items like a photo corner or ribbon lift off the page a little more.
Favorite font - right now my go-to has been Another Typewriter
