Although there are people that I met online and we became friends or at least very good acquaintances, the most important connection for which I use technology is with my family and friends in the old country.

 

Danika @weaselwatchr this was a harder challenge for me and I was overwhelmed by the number of pages in the gallery that featured connections made through the Lilypad. This place is a hotbed for technology relationships!
My page is a little more nostalgic, but I do believe it meets the spirit of the challenge as it highlights how my connections/relationship with my dad was forever altered by computer technology.

I choose the connection to my Scrapbooking communities, they mean the world to me since I don't have people near by to scrap with and share that passion. Thanks for the challenge!

I am so happy to have found a home for my creative exchange with the two online communities. In 2020 it started with the Scrap Smarter Experience, which I became aware of through some newsletter. I had a great weekend, especially since it was an absolute highlight in the middle of the pandemic. After that, I decided on the ScrapHappy membership and was so happy that I finally found a scrapping home. The way to digitial scrapbooking then started with a LOAD challenge. You should design a magazine cover. I thought I would do it right and fell in love with the digital work again. In the course of the course I also discovered affinity for myself. In April 2021 I bought my first Digi Supplies at the Lilypad and discovered the challenges for me in August. And the MOC has become one of my creative highlights of the whole year. In the meantime I am there for the third time and still on fire.
