I decided to create a page about my great-grandfather's chair and as I shared in the gallery, I hope to create a matching page about him.
This was a fun challenge. Not so much an older heirloom in the sense that it's been passed for many generations, but one that I hope will become one beyond me and my children.
Thanks for the challenge! Years ago, I started a book called "Precious Things," which is on the very topic - heirlooms from our family. This layout is all-new and uses TLP supplies, but the layout shape - "precious" photo surrounded by brackets - is coordinates with that album. I've been wanting to work more on this album and am grateful for this opportunity to add another page.
My grandmother lived in the same house from the day she was born until she had to move to a nursing home. I wish I knew more about the history of this table, but I love that it was from her house.
I used a previous TLP Blog Hop Collab (Treasured: The Things) for this page, however I intentionally only used current TLP designer elements from the kit to be compliant with MOC guidelines.
Here's mine: Thank you for this challenge! It was something I might never have thought to scrap about! Huggles!! ~Sarah~
Thank you for the push to document an heirloom. Hopefully, this is an okay way to interpret the challenge.
Can I just say that I love this challenge! It's crazy to see all the treasures out there. Also, very inspiring - I've realized I have tons of stuff I should scrap about.
