Well hello and welcome to June's Journaling challenge. I used to be known as the journaling queen back when I taught paper scrapbooking. A page felt incomplete without some story being shared with the photos. For this month's challenge I would like to see at least 5 lines of typewritten journaling. (Credits in gallery) Journaling Challenge Rules: At least 5 lines of typewritten journaling. I use Another typewriter as my go to typewriter font but any you like will work for this challenge. This is a journaling challenge so only a quote or song lyrics won't be enough, I want to see your thoughts or memories, I want to hear your voice come through in written form. If your layout is in a foreign language please include google translation in the thread. If your journaling is too private to be made public please PM me with it instead. If you have any questions - please tag me @Eyeore Lilypad Gallery Challenge guidelines. As always: your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges' the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I am excited to see your pages! Have fun!
It's was a challenge for me because I'm not a journaller, only on my PL pages. Journalling is in Dutch: Second last night of our holiday we always go to the fair at the beach and we make always the same picture every year. We see they are getting bigger and bigger and aren't afraid anymore to go in some attractions then the first time they were here. Garanteed we have a night with a lot of fun!
I used Tox typewriter font. The barberry has started to bloom and it smells so good! I choose to walk past it every day on one of the dog walks, so that I can smell it. The first radishes are ready, but things aren’t going well in my growing boxes this year. I do not know if it is the cold or the soil that is no good, but neither lettuce, spinach nor radishes grow as they should. The lilies of the valley have also started to bloom, just in time for Mother's Day. Robert thinks they smell too strong, but I think the scent is wonderful. I bought a necklace for myself as a Mother's Day gift and I'm super happy with it
this was an easy challenge, thanks!! =) my journaling talks about my bday this year, we rented a house via airBnB, in a tiny city in the countryside and spent the weekend on the sun, enjoying the swimming pool, celebrating life with a barbecue...
Loved this challenge, I think I may be almost possibly sometimes perhaps starting to enjoy journaling. I used Jokerman, Balista, Big John and Impact fonts. I hope this is OK, I wanted the conversations to be in different fonts. If it is not OK, I will do another page.
Here’s mine, I’ve blurred out a name of a child and a letter they wrote because I am unable to share them.
I used American Typewriter. The beginning of my daughter's battle with stomach cancer and how she is coping.
