    I was inspired by:
-the rectangular shapes on the mood board
    -flower cluster
-the photo collage in the corner
    -the font
    -the quote
    -watercolor paints
The quote "Never let your fear decide your future" really spoke to me. My daughter would love for me to create dresses based on vintage designs for her. I have let my fear of failure stop me. She has much more confidence in me than I do. I would love to explore Savannah and NYC but I need to overcome travel fears that I have to accomplish that too. Thanks for the challenge! Oh my goodness, I ended up going deep with the journaling on this one - but it's good; it really made me reflect on the coming year.

    Inspiration from mood board:

    1. The color scheme
    2. “Never let your fear decide your future”
    3. “You can’t start the next chapter if you keep reading the last.”
    4. “The things that excite you are not random. They are connected to your purpose. Follow them.”
    5. “Follow your purpose.”

2 - it inspired the mood for the page

4 - butterflies to symbolize moving forward/progress and reminds me of two scrap friends we've lost

Well, I made a "Board" of my own!
    Inspiration:
    1. Colour palette
    2. Blocking style
    3. Affirmations
    4. Graffiti
    5. Woman holding something in front of her

She (no5) symbolizes my hope to look inside myself and learn to love myself. Plus I want to be more joyous.

My design for this challenge was inspired by the following:
    1. Butterflies
    2. Cluster of flowers
    3. Quote (next chapter)
    4. Quote on portrait

I created this because I have been inspired to start portrait sketching again, I laid it down years ago and it’s time for me to use my talents and create again.

I was intimidated by the challenge at first, but quickly found a LOT of inspiration:
    1) Straight lined design
    2) Layered elements (ie, the "The things that excite" card over the photos as well as the items in the bottom right picture)
    3) Binder clip holding item in the bottom right picture
    4) Blue and green in the color palette
    5) Circles
    6) Paint splatter from the umbrella picture
    7) The word "reading"

Oh gosh, this was soooooooooo out of my comfort zone, I am not good with mood boards and I don't do goals! I am a "live in the moment and enjoy" kinda girl. But I quite like how it turned out - I think

    Inspired by
    1) Block layout of mood board and the colour swatch down the side
    2) BYOC Colours
    3) Multiple quotes on mood board
    4) Paint splatters
    5) Flower cluster
(6- in case one doesn't count - Umbrella in bottom left photo of me!)
