One of the interesting things about an online community is we all have a username. The majority of us do not use our real name as our username. So, the challenge today is to scrap about your username. If your username is your actual name, you can scrap about why that name was given to you, or you can scrap about another name you are commonly known by (AKA - also known as). Perhaps a nickname from your mother, or a sports team moniker. I want to see your username or AKA on the page in two places: in the journaling, and somewhere else on your page. Examples include the title, a caption for your photo, on a tag, or painted on the background.

Here is mine telling how I became known as "Bestcee" on the internet.

Challenge Requirements:
1. Scrap about your username (or AKA).
2. Your username or AKA must be in two places on your page: in your journaling AND somewhere else on your page.
3. Your journaling should be a minimum of 150 words, in complete sentences, to qualify as complete. Word art will not qualify toward your word count. You cannot use the same word 150 times. You cannot use the same sentence over and over again. Journaling challenges are meant for telling stories; if your journaling is sensitive or personal, please message me or Julie (mrs2a50) directly to discuss.
4. Your journaling should be legible and readable. If your page is not in English, we ask that you translate your journaling to English and post the translation in your gallery credits. If your journaling has been distressed or your font is too small to read, you should post your journaling in your gallery credits. Again, if your journaling is sensitive and/or personal, please message me or Julie directly to discuss.

Remember:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
  1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
  2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
  3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).
 
ooh, that’s going to be an interesting challenge.....I’ve got a good story, now it’s just finding a kit to tell the story

That's always my struggle! Deciding which kit to use! I got lucky with this one. That techno kit just jumped out at me.

well I doubt I’m going to find a kiwi element unless @LynnG has one hanging around in one of her kits so I’ll probably head down the computer/tech route as well
 
This is SO fun - what a great challenge! I'm one of those weirdos who goes with their actual name for a username (mostly because I had a significant professional online presence using my legal name) so I'm going to use a different angle and write about the email address I chose after my first marriage ended. It's a story I've meant to record for years, and this is the perfect nudge to get it done. Thanks, @bestcee!

Hmm....She has one in her logo, but I don't see one in her kit.
I assume you mean the bird, not the fruit!
 
I like that. That's going to be interesting to read about others' name. I am with @A-M though. My name is a spin-off of my real name. To write 150 words is going to be a challenge. Prepare for rambling about nothing!

Maybe! But you could always add in why your parents choose Anne-Marie, and why you decided to shorten it to A-M.

You can do it! You can always add in why you decided to spin off your real name.
 
Practising what I will share.. up to 134 words so far.
Question.... Do we need to include a photo for this challenge?
 
Just want to confirm...photo optional? I don't see it in the reqs but yours has a photo...THANKS!

Please ignore...somehow I didn't get the other posts...LOL
