I really can't believe that December is here already. Is it me or did this year just speed by? I hope everyone is feeling ready for the holidays and planning something fun for the weekend.

I am headed out on a girls weekend with my tribe of besties. We do this 4 times a year. It's a lot of laughing, scrapping and eating bacon. Major fun and relaxation. I can't wait!

What's on your planner for the weekend?

we had plans for the past 3 days, which got cancelled because my cousin and his wife, plus her cousin and her husband, arrived with almost no notice....they didn;t stay with us, but they came over as I am not very mobile, we made dinner (Sarita was amazing, including pancakes after!!!) and I dove into the BYOC that is SOOOOoooooo SO amazing!!!!!!!! I didn't even want to eat not to miss scrapping :giggle
We had made plans to go to the cinema, which I haven't been in at least 18 months... The murder in the Orient Express is on and we want to see it in the cinema, but now with the time out of bed for my cousins, I ll need to stay in bed tomorrow at least, and I have another CT scan next week, so we ll take it easy. Probably catch up on The Good Doctor and Sarita is working during the day tomorrow, so dinner in ... we have tickets for the Harry Potter exhibition at the British Library in 2 weeks (yay!!!) so I have to get my body ready for that too :)
I'm in a much better mood so I am confident I ll make it...but if anyone is inclined to remember us in your prayers..... Always eternally grateful!!!!!!:heartlub:heartlub:heartlub

Laura...sounds like a fun time!
Cynthia...get some rest and enjoy The Good Doctor. I love that show.

Tomorrow night we’ll start getting Xmas decorations out. I’m going to winners tomorrow to see what Xmas stuff they have. Tomorrow is the start of my using my new Xmas coffee mug. Repair guy comes Saturday for hubbys chair. It’s under warranty so hopefully it can be fixed. I can’t believe a 5 month old recliner is falling apart.

Sunday is Costco shopping and then home to put up the tree. Can’t wait!

We have a vet appointment in the morning for our little furbaby. She keeps getting sick and isn't eating like she used to. We are kind of concerned about her. And we have grocery shopping to do. Need to finish decorating for Christmas. And I want to crochet for a while. Maybe read some. A lot of what we DO get to do will depend on the furbaby though, and what we find out about her.

@lmccandless Your girls weekend sounds amazing!! Enjoy!!
@MrsPeel You are always in my thoughts and prayers! So glad your mood is in a better place :)
@bcgal00 Hoping the best for the chair!! Have fun decorating!
@Jan Hope you are able to find out what's going on with your furbaby and she gets on the road to getting better.
@Angela Toucan Happy Birthday to your son! My youngest son is 12...such a fun age with boys lol.

I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow morning for my youngest niece! I'm going to have a great nephew in January :) He is my sister's first grandbaby. Then we have a major furniture moving project to do...switching out a bed in DS's room. I need to start wrapping gifts!! I've had a bunch arrive this week and the boxes are piling up in my office! Other than that, I am Documenting my December (YAY) and scrapping some other pages!!

I need to get my haircut (it’s an absolute mess right now and even more so now that it’s thinning and I have bald patches from what ever health concern is going on) and i’m going to dinner with my bestie and her family for her birthday. Apart from that it’s rest so that I can do what I need to during the next week.

Enjoy Laura!

I am taking it easy. We decorated the tree last weekend so we are going ot go out to dinner Saturday night as I was pretty much ill all week. I am so looking forward to dinner out tomorrow and chilling watching holiday movies this weekend.. and of course scrapping some!! :)

Hubby's had days holiday to use up before year end, so we've been out and about this week - nothing fancy, but fun.
And our tree has been up since Monday - thanks to Carly and most of gifts are wrapped - think that's a first for us.
Maybe a cinema date over the weekend - and chillax.

Feel better sweetie.. been a tough week for me too.. having to schedule an MRI now for my lower back... anyway I am glad you are looking forward to HP Exhibition.. do take pictures!! I am glad you are in a better mood and you had family visiting. Hugs :)

We are enjoying a day in Atlanta today, visiting the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium. Tomorrow, my daughter has a long board breaking clinic to prepare for her black belt test next weekend. Then, we have a birthday party for a friend’s daughter, who is turning 2.

Laura’s weekend away sounds fabulous. I could definitely go for that!

Feel good and rest @MrsPeel!

We finally have a weekend with not much planned and I'm SO excited. Tonight we are going to our cute little downtown for the "Light the Bluff" event. There is a mile long bluff with lots of lights over everything they can reach along with lighted characters, etc and a giant tree. The high school choir sings carols and then we count down to turn on the lights and then there's music and synchronized to the lights fun all up and down. They also have a live mannequins show in the downtown shop windows. My hubby says they are creepy, but I think they are super cool. Anyway, we go every year with two other families and then usually go back to one of our houses for drinks afterwards.

Then tomorrow... my hubby is going fishing all day and I'm NOT getting out of my pajamas all day long. I'm hoping to paint all day and I refuse to clean anything since I spend my entire week off work last week and didn't' paint or scrap a thing and cleaned pretty much the whole time. Boo! Lol!

Sunday we go get our tree. :)

Feel better, Cynthia! @MrsPeel Sending a hug!

Laura, that sound wonderful! I hope it is a fantastic weekend! @lmccandless

We have a busy Saturday and a super quiet Sunday, so it will be perfect! :cloud9

Saturday - Dave and Busters for Lunch with my son and a few of his friends for his birthday! 13!!!! Then after that...
PUPPY!!!!! This is the third try for him to get to us... so fingers crossed, everyone!

@jk703 fingers and toes tightly crossed for you for this weekend!!!!

We have a quiet weekend - I plan on doing some cooking, some photography, some scrapping and a whole lot of relaxing!

It's my birthday weekend, so my Mom & stepdad are visiting from out of town- but we have my daughter's basketball game tonight, going to a birthday lunch on Saturday then my son's hockey game. They leave sunday morning & then I'm taking a group of girls to our local college's girls basketball game. Phew...

Quiet weekend before the busy, busy starts. My daughter's Girl Scout troop operates a gift wrapping station at the mall. We are leading training this Sunday and then will be working crazy hours to earn $$ for our 2020 GS trip.

I am planning to scrap tonight and all day Saturday. I want to get our Christmas card made and ordered. And I want to make those DYD pages.

The scrap weekend sounds fun. Shopping for gifts sounds fun too - but first I have to come up with ideas. My hubby is the opposite, he wanders the stores, buys things that interest him, and then figures out who to give them to.

My husband is gone on a retreat for work this weekend so it's just the kids and I here having a very quiet weekend. We're going to do a movie and pizza tonight and they're going to the library Christmas party tomorrow. Other than that, I plan to finish up ordering Christmas gifts, wrap gifts, and scrap! I may not get out of PJs except to take the kids to the party at the library. :)

Tomorrow I'll be starting on decorating the house, then I have a Christmas Party with my hiking group. On Sunday we are going to my mum's to help her decorate her tree and have dinner with her.
