TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

@MrsPeel Cynthia, we saw Murder on the Orient Express on the 14th for my daughter's 14th birthday. It was good. But will be just as good on the home t.v. screen.

Right now my daughters and their friend are decorating our house and tree, which my 14 year old daughter and I picked out from the nearby nursery this afternoon. I let her have complete choice because last year she was so dismayed by the prickly one I chose. She chose a Fraser Fir and it nearly touches our ceiling. Also, for the first time this year, we have lights outside, on our porch, which I bought at last year's day after Christmas sale.

Tomorrow I'm walking with my friend on the grounds of Chatham Manor, a historical site in our town, Fredericksburg. We walk every Saturday morning, and we often bring along cameras and make pictures too. In the evening, my daughters are going with friends to the Christmas parade going through downtown Fredericksburg.

Sunday afternoon my 16 year old daughter will be singing with her choir and another choir in a Christmas concert.

And I will squeeze in some scrapbooking! :D

Hubs has to work tomorrow and while he's hard at it - I'll be watching our two oldest grandbabies (2 and 4). I made home made playdoh for them tonight - they'll enjoy playing with it tomorrow ... and have the stuff to make so they can make "slime" too - it will be a fun-filled day, I'm sure!

Today was crazy! Haircut, then to the mall to get a new iPhone. Lunch with the hubby, then I spent all afternoon trying to restore my iCloud backup without success. Most of my apps are gone and I'm spending all day re-downloading then and changing passwords. Maybe I can finish it all tomorrow. Monday night I'm taking a class at the library to make a Christmas wreath for the front door.

I have a little Christmas shopping to do tomorrow morning for a class party next week, then we have a Christmas Parade tomorrow night and then after church on Sunday friends are coming over, one kid is going to a b-day party and I'll be getting ready for the week. Pretty low-key....but let's be honest, nothing is low-key when you have 7 kids...even if you stay home all day. LOL!

My husband just got home from Dubai, so we're hanging out at home. Clara is at a friend's house and Alex is at work. He has two friends spending the night tonight and first thing in the morning, they're driving to Ann Arbor to tour the University of Michigan for the day before driving back home to Chicago. I'm going to need some major distractions tomorrow so I don't completely stress out. Why do these kids have to be so darn independent?!?

Clara has dance all day with a performance tomorrow night. I doubt we'll go though. She has so many performances this month that we'll have plenty of opportunities to see her dance. (Plus I'm annoyed with her studio right now.)

Sunday is church, Alex has work that after that and Jeff and Clara are going to the Blackhawks game... unless she decides to go to the zoolights with her friends, which means I get to go instead.

Just another revolving door weekend with people constantly coming and going!

I just had my first ice cream in months! Lol my hubby and 12 year old son are with a church event in Phoenix, so the two youngest boys and I are going to a college football game tomorrow. It is in the big city, and I'm gonna sneak in some ross shopping too. The boys are so excited for mom adventure time.

Soccer for oldest grandgirl and then I had planned on taking 3 of grandkids to a parade but just found out grandson has birthday party so not sure we will have time now for everything. bummer because I was really looking forward to parade and events.

Sunday I need to get out the decorations and decorate the house.

Your weekend sounds amazing!! Be safe and have fun!!

Yesterday ended with a failed Pinterest pin, today I ran to Goodwill since it was half off day and picked up a few shirts and a 3/4 length sleeved jacket/blazer thing and a few vases to try and salvage my failed pin and tomorrow we'll probably go to my mom's house.
