What makes you happy right now!
Is it the changing the seasons?
A trip to the pumpkin patch or haunted house?
A new haircut?
A new recipe?
Pumpkin Spice everything?

What makes you happy today?

That it feels like fall! Cool temps are here, it's overcast, raining all day and I have nowhere I need to be. I love days like this (I don't necessarily love multiple days like this in a row though)... comfy clothes and scrapping are on the agenda today!

My little family, COFFEE, rain, Halloween, fall, the feeling of the Christmas spirit, pumpkins, the way CLEAN babies smell, a clean house, fresh laundry, no noise, and my kitties...just to name a few!!

Sleep. I hardly get enough.

Other than sleep? Chocolate. And the fact I completed two (!) trip albums this week!

My family for the most part... Sleeping in a little, lazy mornings, scrapping, reading, hot tea in the morning, summer, beach, bay sunsets, no work, weekends, vacation. I'm a dork and a Pollyanna. I try to find something good in everything.

What makes me happy....right now??? Today?
  • getting the hang of working on two monitors today....love it!
  • the sun is shining (we needed it after the week of torrential rain we just had).
  • got a new vest and fleecy jacket this morning, so comfy.
  • my biggest joy today is that I feel absolutely back to normal (health-wise) after 2 different viruses in the last month.

Seeing my daughter enjoying something. I hope that's not too much of a downer. I often hesitate to talk about her depression, especially in a public forum. But on the other hand, there needs to be more general awareness, so I think I'll go ahead and chime in with that. :) She has been battling depression since at least the beginning of 2016. So seeing her enjoying simple things, like telling me about a funny meme she read today, makes me happy.

Specifically today? We had a 2 hour delay! Those are always a nice little surprise :)

I enjoy seeing the smile on her face in your Facebook posts. She looks good. Totally diggin' the pink hair, too.

I'm really crabby today so I've liked reading everyone else's lists but have nothing of my own to contribute. :p

top of the list has to be.....a phone call to line up a job interview on Friday after very stressful period applying for the job
More settled warmer weather
Better health (seem to be well over the bad couple of months I had with multiple colds)

but honestly.....just being in a better spot mentally, having things go well always makes it easier to stay positive

Not a downer at all! That's awesome.

For what? Rain? Ice? Our kids have Friday off for Nevada day.

Flash flooding, washed out roads, and rock slides from some really bad storms that went through last night.

That it feels like fall! Cool temps are here,
Yeah!
We went pumpkin picking today. With a high of 90 F!

the way CLEAN babies smell,
I get the feeling you like clean!

And the fact I completed two (!) trip albums this week!
Wahoo! That's a huge accomplishment!

today is the Mondayest Tuesday ever
I'm sorry! Double Mondays are not fair.

I try to find something good in everything.
That's a wonderful thing!

my biggest joy today is that I feel absolutely back to normal
Yeah! Healthy is always good.

Oh wow! That's crazy.

It was! And I was driving in it lol We got about 4" of rain in a short amount of time. That's not a lot, but when you get that in a valley with the run off from the mountains and lots of streams and creeks, it makes a mess.
