Retirement Sale?

I just wish I had kits at the start of MOC...I will not even disclose how much I ended up spending LOL!! Hubby was not very amused, is all I'm saying...but I was having so much fun, especially once Anne and Cheryl showed me HOW to use CS5 on the computer vs my phone and apps which is what I used for the first 8 or 9 challenges...I don't remember how I found out about MOC, but I'm so glad I did.

I do hate that we can't use retired stuff during MOC, though (must be an active product in the store to count towards the percentage). I ended up having to trash a LO because I didn't realize that until I went to post it (I had used about 99% of retired product of an active designer). It was my own stupid fault for not reading more closely, but I was bummed that I had to start over.

Even with as much as I buy on a regular basis, I still ended up buying a lot during MOC. It's wicked! :stash

lol...so true. I should probably just give Laura my bank details and open a tab! The sad thing is that I shop a lot at other stores too, so I REALLY spend a lot. It's just that The Pad is my fave and is definitely my scrappy home!
 
Me too!! Although I haven't purchased a kit from another store in a couple weeks LOL! Dangerous shopping online, especially when I don't have to find a place to store anything physical!

I just keep upgrading my hard drives (internal and external). I put a 10TB drive in my PC in January. My hubby asked me why I needed one that big when he doesn't (he's an architect and runs AutoCAD and other huge programs). I told him I own a lot of "digital assets" and won't be slowing down anytime in the foreseeable future...haha.

:lmao I totally laughed out loud when I read that!!! when I first started digi scrapping I purchased sooooooooooo much!!! and best part was that hubby 'couldn't see' all the stuff that I did get! :stash unlike the RL paper and stuff I used to buy and he would see all the bags and just roll his eyes!!! :lol :rofl

@wombat146 Ditto LOL!! If he had any idea of how many files I have...I would hate to see what it would look like if they were in the physical form o.O

@cookingmylife DOH!!! I'm pretty sure mine pretends he doesn't see half of the charges on the checking account, but I did get a REALLY during MOC LOL!

I'm hybrid,Ona, so I still have all the bags lying around. It's scary.
 
I'm trying to not think about a sale only cause i'm trying to buy a household item or two each week for when i move to my own flat

Margret I have so much stuff its not funny!!!!! and I am moving to Tasmania soon into what is going to be a much smaller house so I need to get all my stuff sorted out. I can only take a limited supply of stuff so I think I will concentrate mainly on my inks, paints and few bits and pieces to do art journaling........ and :angel :whistle who knows what sort of shops I may find down there!! :giggle Thankfully one of my DIL's will take the rest as she likes craft! Whatever she can't use will go to a craft stall for the school fair! :)
