Retirement Sale?

This will be my first experience with a retirement sale here; do the items change daily or do they stay the same throughout the week? After the sale, do the items disappear right away or do the items stay up a bit longer but at full price?
 
I am not the expert, but the sale is all enclusive from start to finish (nothing added daily) then the products in that sale category will be gone.

Gotta grab them up while they are available! :stash

I don't think anything has been posted in the forum about the retirement sale (yet), but "old timers" know that there is a retirement sale at the end of March. LOL

The sale this year will run from March 17-26.

Products in the retirement sale are 50% off.
 
Nooooooooo LOL!!! For whatever reason, I'm drawn to kits that have already retired or will be retiring...why is that...is my style old???

I saw it mentioned in another shopping post LOL!! I had no idea either!

This be my 3rd retirement sale. I got titles from last year in a excel file, wished i had from 2015. all i have regarding that is a img in the kit

Woooot! I knew/had hoped it was soon, but actually thought it was in feb last year and we just weren't having one this year. Yayayayayyaayya! :stash :fairydance
 
I love any and all sales. Any excuse to buy new stuff - or old stuff that is new to me.
Fun times and let's hope much enabling too, I love seeing the gallery filled with kits that are on sale. That's how I find most of my "must have" items.
 
The retirement sales are nice but like @Karen Karen said I hate seeing some of my favorites go. I am glad though we can still use for challenges as long as the designer is active here :)

One fabulous thing about the retirement sale is that you CAN use them for our monthly challenges!

Challenge layouts must contain 75% TLP product (eligible product can be current or retired product from resident designers, or guest designer product that is currently in the TLP store).

I am really glad that we can use retired stuff during challenges because I've been buying a lot of stuff for a long time. I do hate that we can't use retired stuff during MOC, though (must be an active product in the store to count towards the percentage). I ended up having to trash a LO because I didn't realize that until I went to post it (I had used about 99% of retired product of an active designer). It was my own stupid fault for not reading more closely, but I was bummed that I had to start over.
 
That's exactly how I feel with retirements sales of any kind! I always want more than I can afford and then I can't make a decision and miss out on things LOL!!

I don't know LOL!! Do you remember those super cute round flowers we would make with the silky type fabric and burn the edges...yeah...I still LOVE those and hardly ever see them anymore!! And hubby put a stop to me making them when I set some papers on fire at the kitchen table while making some...whoops!!
