I used to read and subscribe to so many magazines! Cooking magazines, scrapbooking magazines, Project Magazines.
Now, we only receive three - Mental Floss, Lego Club, and a church one for the munchkin. And I just learned that Mental Floss has it's last issue next month. Sigh.

How about you? Do you get a huge amount of magazines? Or do you borrow them from the library? Or do you not read them at all?
 
I used to get a couple of scrapbooking magazines and a recipe one, but don't anymore. Most everything related to my hobbies is available online. As far as magazines, we just get the 3 church ones and those go unread most months because we read or listen to those online too.
 
I used to get a couple of magazines - Grit, Birds and Bloom and Guideposts (if you consider that a magazine). I signed up to receive some of them on my Kindle, but found I didn't enjoy reading them from there.
 
I love magazines but don't get any except The Economist because it comes as part of dh's digital subscription. Back in my days of limited funds, I used to go to the library one night a week just to read magazines! darn if some sneaks used to tear out pages of the newest issues which were/are not available for checkout.
 
We get the Ensign from Church. And I used to get Country Magazine years ago. It's on the expensive side though so I let it go. But I really LOVE that one. The photos are beautiful and the articles are fun to read. I should get it again. :)
 
We love National Geographic! I grew up always having that one, it would be weird not to get it, lol. My mom always got Better Homes and Gardens too, and now she pays my subscription too (I think it's cheap to add another to her subscription) but honestly I don't read it much. And now that you mention it- my son gets Lego Club but I don't remember ever paying for it! ha! Not sure how that happened. We also get some church magazines.
 
I get Outdoor Photography - and read it in the bathtub. I usually take a bubble bath at least once a week - my excuse is that I use an intense hair conditioner that has to sit on for 10 minutes. Mostly I just love a hot bubble bath.

LOL that's funny Bev! i haven't tried our clawfoot tub since I had my knee replaced. I should since we're renovating that bathroom...someday soonish...and probably giving the tub away.
 
The only reason we have any magazines is because the grandkids sell them for their school's major fundraiser each year. Dave gets, golf digest, some entertainment magazine, and he picked up sports llustrated this year too from their sale. I bought a photograph magazine for a couple years but it was too advanced for my skill level. I do like to read magazines, but like you, I just go to the internet if I need info.
 
Long ago I had a magazine addiction. But it collided with my environmental consciousness and desire to reduce clutter so I ended all our subscriptions, including the newspaper. Then a couple of years ago my friend gifted me with Smithsonian and National Geographic subscriptions. I only resubscribed to National Geographic though. I have always loved it. I have a big shelf full of old issues of it in my basement. :giggle Especially with the low cost it's hard to resist. I really should start passing finished copies on to other people or waiting rooms though, instead of holding on to them! I did try the digital version one year. I didn't enjoy it quite as much, and kept forgetting about it since it was kind of invisible, hiding on my Nook. ;)

Oh, we also got Lego magazine for a while. I believe it was just a freebie we had to sign up for. I also got my kids Highlights magazine and American Girl magazine for many years. Those are all done now though. My son still sometimes reads old copies of Highlights we have tucked into our van though.
 
I quit all subscriptions about this time last year in order to save money and add that to my scrapbooking budget. hahaha. Didn't really work out that way. But the idea was good.

There is one magazine in particular that I love: FLOW. It's Dutch and it's full with paper goodies, happy stories, mindfulness, free goodies like little notebooks, postcards or tutorials to hand lettering, drawing, nature walks, etc. I love it. It makes me happy just to look at it. (partly because the cover is always pretty and colorful and has a great quote on it) It's a great coffee table magazine.

I also buy some brain puzzle magazines a few times a year. They will last for months. :) I like to just grab them every once in a while when I'm bored.
 
I LOVE magazines! As a matter of fact I go to Barnes & Noble at least once a month to get a tea and look at all the magazine! LOL
I did just pick up from Costco The premier issue of The Magnolia Journal and fell in love! I will be subscribing to that! We do get National Geographic | This Old House | Better Homes and Gardens
I'M IN LUST with ANY Somerset Studio magazine, but they are so expensive! I have gotten a few free as I've been published in Somerset Memories. That was super fun to get in the mail!
 
I have several magazine subscriptions & we get Lego Junior free. I rarely have time to read my magazines, but I love them. I take them to work & put them in a basket near my desk. Anyone is welcome to borrow & once I read them, they go to the waiting room. I work in a hospital. I love cooking & craft magazines.
 
I used to get a bunch, mostly like Taste of Home and their Quick Cooking magazines. Now, I don't get any at all. It's so much easier just to look up recipes on Pinterest or browse crafty things. I do still like to look at them from time to time, but I don't subscribe to any.
 
I used to get TONS. Now I'm down to Country Living and Martha Stewart Living. I sometimes get Southern Living (is there a theme going on here???) and This Old House when I need to use up airline points. And Mary Jane's Farm. Love that one, too. I really want to get Threads again, but I just don't sew enough these days to merit that expense. But I did see that Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper has a new decorating magazine ... I guess I know what will be on my Christmas List!
 
I somehow got subscribed to a bunch (Seattle, O, Vanity Fair, and Real Simple), but I'm not sure how. I think they finally just ran out. I used to get Poets & Writers and the Writers' Digest, but now get them online through the library. I have online subscriptions to National Geographic, the Atlantic, Smithsonian, Day One, and Shutterbug.

I sometimes pick up Juxtapoz or Hi-Fructose (art mags) if they look inspiring.

I am in love with FLOW, but cannot afford a subscription. :cry

I pick up several by Stampington throughout the year... Art Journaling, Somerset Digital Studio, Somerset Studio, Sew Somerset and occasionally Willow and Sage. Once in a blue moon I might buy an issue of Mingle, Bella Grace or Stuffed.

I love the gorgeous photos and design of the glossy pages of magazines. I don't know what it is, but I really do.
 
Over the years, I've gotten lots of magazines . . . but these are the big ones that I remember keeping and going back to.

The only ones I've purchased in the past few years have been the Somerset Digital Studio. It's a treat to pick that up from B&N.

Daniel gets LEGO Club magazine as well.
