What are you reading?

I'm working on the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. I also recently started Unbroken (thanks to Becky's recommendation) but it was so depressing in the beginning that I had to put it down. I've heard fabulous things about it so I need to check it out from the library again and finish it.

I chanced upon these two books in library a wk ago = Amanda Quick's The Arcane Society Trilogy - Second Sight (#1) & the Third Circle (#2).

I finished #1 within 4 hours. When I started #2 then I realized they are related. So I went to search for the the #2 (White Lies). Hope to get my hands on it before this weekend.

Snap Dutch diva I am half way through Touch and Go by Lisa Gardener .it is good I think.
mind you this month of challenges has made for slow reading, since I always seem to be on the computer :giggle

LOL Me too you don't want to know where I take the time to read a few minutes now with work and scrapping there is no other time left! :giggle

I like Amanda Quick, so I went to check this out. I learned a ton! I knew Amanda Quick was a pen name, I didn't know she wrote under three main names! And this series is under all three names.....I will be checking it out.

I just finished Allegiant (which I thought was the best of the trilogy) and I started the Shadow Project (which seems very good so far).

I'm reading So Big by Edith Ferber. I've been short reading time lately which is a bummer. I picked up a few library holds this week, next is Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children and Where Things Come Back.

smack in the middle...all caught up with MOC, and gonna go hide on the couch with some dried cranberries! :giggle

Just finished The Dead in Their Vaulted Arches (Flavia de Luce #6). Some of the others in the series are better, but I still liked it. Nest on my list is the Westing Game.

I enjoyed that Arcane Trilogy (if it's the one I remember). About a lamp??
It's about Arcane Society of human beings with inherited paranormal skills. Their founder (an Alchemist) had found a potent formula to enhance their skills. And everybody (many generations later, young & old, good & bad) is trying to get their hands on it. Of cos, there's the adventure & romance thrown in.

I'm still on the Paranormal Trail altho Twilight is long-gone. So this series is good. The last paranormal ebooks I read were the City of Bones series. Hope to grab them (again) from the library. :giggle

I got the box set of the Divergent trilogy for Christmas. I reread the first two in a couple of days and now I am on to Allegant. I love it so far!

This is an awesome thread! It should totally have a sticky, or maybe we could do a thread like this once a month? I wrote every book down that I haven't read. I am definitely going to see what they are about.

Since a lot of us are buying. The Rosie Project. I think it would be fun to have a thread in a couple of weeks to discuss it. With the word *spoilers* in the thread title, of course. What do you other Rosie Project -ers think?

I kinda got sucked in to the Robyn Carr series of books.. I read the first 3 of her Thunderpoint series- The Wanderer, The Newcomer & The Hero, and then I stumbled on her Virgin River series... I have already read 3 of the VR series and started on another and have one in the wings... I usually read fast... :)
