What are you reading?

Just finished The Fault In Our Stars. I'm looking for something else, maybe I will try The Rosie Project.

I read piles of travel guides about Australia- calms my nerves. And I'm about to finish "Dream Catcher", the autobiography of J.D. Salinger's daughter Margaret. Next in line is "At Home in the world" by Joyce Maynard.

Snap Dutch diva I am half way through Touch and Go by Lisa Gardener .it is good I think.
mind you this month of challenges has made for slow reading, since I always seem to be on the computer :giggle

I'm reading The End Games by T. Michael Martin- I'm only a few chapters in but it's looking like a zombie thing which is not usually my style, i think it was recommended for fans of Rick Yancy's The 5th Wave which was my last fave read.

I kind of have three books going right now. I'm listening to The Mind's Eye by James Dashner and work. I also started Winter's Bone while out of town because I didn't want to bring my paper library book and I had Winter's Bone on my phone. AND, I started This is Where I Leave You. So far that one is keeping my interested but I'm only like 2 chapters in.

Winter's Bone has been had to read because of the dialect of the main character.

And I bought The Rosie Project too! :)

I just finished a collection of short stories for my book club called Tenth of December. Interesting, but short stories aren't my thing. They don't give me enough time to become invested in the characters.

I'm going to the library at lunch. I may pick up Doctor Sleep by Stephen King as I haven't read that one yet. Or, I'll start Clockwork Princess, I have that on my Kindle.

I'm almost finished book 3 of the Hot Ink series, reading this year has been slow because I've gotten back into scrapping and the MOC is keeping me really busy!

From February I will balance between the 2 better, as I have set myself a target to read 150 books this year, I managed 250 books last year, But I didn't do any scrapbooking last year!

I finished Allegient, Kinda felt the same. #1 was really good, #2 was alright, and #3 I read to see how it ended.
I started "Organized Grime" which is #3 of the series. #1 was awesome, #2 was alright, and now I think I may quit reading it. I don't mind formulaic if it's also interesting. This one doesn't seem as interesting.
I'm also working my way through the In Death series. Currently reading Reunion in Death by J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts). And since I'm one of those weird people who read cookbooks I'll admit that America's Test Kitchen and "Dinner: A love story" are also in the mix.

I forgot - I just finished The Returned as well. I recommend it!

Brought home Necessary Lies by Diane Chamberlain from the library. And tonight I'm starting The First Days (As the World Dies #1) by Rhiannon Frater.

I just had to grab Rosie Project, too. I am a sucker for these deal books!

I'm re-reading Lord of the Flies and Catcher in the Rye because I'm teaching them again. And I'm reading lots of essays! I love to read but I rarely get a chance to read anything off my own "list" these days.

I am reading Gods of Guilt the latest Lincoln Lawyer book by Michael Connelly.

I just read A Thousand Splendid Suns and it was amazing. Disturbing, page turner but really really great book

I am going to have to check out these books on Amazon, I have a Kindle. I need something to read.

Pam
