What are you reading?

I spent most of last month trying to read the Book Thief but couldn't get into it much, even though in theory it is right up my alley in terms of stuff I normally read. Now I am reading The Rosie Project which I find very entertaining.

I'm listening to The Interestings on my drive to and from work and it's pretty good so far!

I'm currently reading "The Legend of Eli Montpress", "Ghosts on the Red Line", and The Introvert Challenge.

I finished Allegiant, The Fault in Our Stars, and The Rosie Project this week. Now I need to figure out what to read next!

Just finished The Rosie project (so funny) and The Circle and now am onto The Husband's Secret.

Slogging my way through #6 of the Outlander series A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon. The story line in #6 seems to have slowed down to a snail's pace. Hoping in picks back up in #7. The eighth in the series will be released this fall.

I'm reading Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin, and I'm hoping I can finish it up before the movie hits theaters on Valentine's day.

I read 2 chapters and couldn't get into it. I'm going to try again. Does it get a little easier to read as it goes on?

I just started the newest in the Flavia de Luce series tonight.

Just finished "Empty Mansions." It's about the heiress Huguette Clark who died recently in NYC. She was like 104 years old & had a bunch of properties that were empty for years. No immediate family. Interesting. She was a mystery.

I love this thread and all the suggestions!! I am about to finish Insurgent and moving to Allegiant next, but I'll be coming back here for more ideas!!

I'm reading Dark Places by Gillian Flynn and its gripping. Disturbing, but gripping!

So excited!! How is it?? I just finished "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn. Have you read that one too? I was at home sick and I almost finished the whole book in a day. Just couldn't stop. I read quite a lot of thrillers, but "Gone Girl" was different than the usual stories.

And I'm listening to Sandra Brown as an audio book (mainly when driving or cleaning the kitchen). I read one or two of her thrillers before, now I'm listening to "Chill factor" but so far it's SO bad that it's actually funny again.

I'm enjoying it - actually, not sure "enjoying" is the right word, but I look forward to reading it every night! I've read Hone Girl and Sharp Objects too so I'm just waiting for it to get darker and more disturbing as it goes on!

I liked Dark Places, too. Gillian Flynn is so good at writing unlikeable characters!

"Gone Girl" made me want to read even quicker just to find out what's going on, but at the same time I the story made me go like "Uuhhh, but that's terrible..." the whole time,:scared

Yep, that's how Dark Places has made me feel too! I finished it yesterday and it was my favourite ending of all three of Gillian Flynn's novels (I don't want to say too much and give anything away!!).
