I got to hang up with Heathergw today....

So sad Lisa and I didn't make it this month - we'll be seeing you in February though (hopefully). Heather, you have to teach me how to make corn tortillas. We make/eat a LOT of mexican food at home, and I know how to make flour torts, but not corn.

I'm in Chicago!! And I totally know what you mean about the Chicago hands off thing... we moved back and forth between Chicago and Texas a couple of times... totally different.

i saw!!!!!!! and i'm soooo jealous!! you girls are super cute! thanks for the shout out! eep!

oh gosh, buy a bag of Masa and the recipe is on the back... so easy... Masa, water and salt... a tortilla press and griddle... easy peasy :) so much cheaper than buying and so much yummier :)

We make our own tortillas too. Super cheap and super simple. I think we got our tortilla press at bed bath and beyond for about $10 with one of the coupons they send out.

btw. I am A HUGGER and KISSER, so Sarah is lucky I noticed she was not a HUGGER (right after I hugged her) because the kiss was coming next! LOL!!!!!!! We kiss and hug goodbye people we just met down there in Puerto Rico. Maybe that's why they have over 1MILLION cases of the flu! LOL!!!!

I'm so jealous! I'd love to meet my international scrap friends!! Guess I'll have to meet Valeria again, to make you girls feel jealous too!! LOL!!

Hey, not taking away by southern belle title... I kind of like it a lot! LOL!!!!

Sorry to steal it Dalis. But, I grew up in Louisiana...any further south and your in the Gulf of Mexico...so I win! A true, sweet tea drinking, Southern Belle. lol. ;)

But I am jealous of all these IRL link ups! We're moving to Ft. Leavenworth Kansas this summer. Anyone near the Kansas City area?

Jo,
I can't stand that sweet tea... I drink un-sweet by the gallons but can't do the sweet!

I'm so sad the stupid weather didn't cooperate! I was SO looking forward to a night hanging out!!!!

I am ready for the 26th though!!!!

Am I not mistaken that we met up in Wisconsin Kim? This is the correct Kim that lives in Crystal Lake?

*gag*
I can not fathom drinking unsweet tea willingly.

I do like my sweet tea as well....but just a touch of sweet...not the syrup that the rest of my family prefers. I only use about half to a third of the sugar that my sister uses.

oh ick... I soooo can't do sweet tea... prefer unsweetened with a tiny bit of raw honey

I just can't add sugar to mine... I have been seen spitting sweet tea that was giving by accident to me. LOL!!!
