I'm sad I didn't get to go.Better not to risk it though..ice scares me a whole lot. I did spend about 4 hours working on my 2012 Project Life though and got about half of July done. Super excited to get going on it again...there are still huge gaps that need filled in (like the end of September to Christmas Eve and most of April and May).
ummm...you're talking CHICAGO, right? that's where Dalis and Heather are? Never thought I'd hear THAT called southern!!
love those meet-ups! awesome you guys got together!
south?
mexican food???
ya'll need to bring that tortilla press on down here, and I will hook you all up with some frijoles, green chile' relanos, and salsa that will burnthe buds of your tongue and make you beg for more!
I have to admit, I would love to sit in Heather's kitchen and drink coffee and giggle, especially with Miss Dalis there too...sigh![]()
how far south do you need to be??? I think I'm from the South (well Southern Hemisphere at least!)
How fun! i have to say that homemade corn tortillas sound really yummy!
lol! I was about to say, Heather is soooo NOT southern.

I'm so sad the stupid weather didn't cooperate! I was SO looking forward to a night hanging out!!!!
I am ready for the 26th though!!!!
(pretending to be all southern) and yeah Trish is right... whenever I go down to Nashville, I get weirded out about how overly friendly they are there... My first time there, I was 7 months pregnant and wanted to put a sign on every day... don't touch the belly without asking, he's a boy, and yes I'm only 7 months pregnant and no it's not twins... I lost his twin early in pregnancy thank you very much for making me cry... and stop asking me so many questions... I'm so used to the Chicago hands off personality LOL

Hey now. I'm a pretty hands-off southern, thankyaverymuch. I get weirded out when people touch me, even people I know. And don't even get me started on having to hold hands with people for praying in Sunday School. **shudder** It's a standing joke in my class.

Trish.....I think you're only 2 hours away from me, aren't you?!?! Like Memphis?!?!?
Now.....that's southern.....Y'all!
Well, I'm half French (my mother's side) so we are really into hugging and even kissing on the cheek when we greet each other. This is common even with people we just met! We kiss once on both cheeks, but in many other places it's 3 or even 4 times!![]()
and we also do the kissing on both cheeks when we meet people. There are some places here in Brazil that do it 3 times or 4 too!!! LOLMaybe next time I visit home the three of us (and anyone else here from the area) can get together. I was hoping to meet Trish in the fall but our zoo trip turned into a big family affair instead of just my little family of three. I'm originally from NE Arkansas so Memphis is only about an hour and LR is about 2 hours from where I grew up.
