My last name...

No. No, no, no, no, no! You must be Car-Uh! That's how I have always read your name, it's going to freak me out trying to think of you as Care-uh!!

I get called Kate or Katie (either is fine) but my surname gets misspelled a lot - should be HaDfield not HaTfield.

oh must be the english in us cause thats what i thought to with karah, and ill still think it that way in my head lol

I just showed it my husband and said how would you pronounce that and he said car-ah too so there lol

Jacque.... I can honestly say I've never even considered "Jack".... you've always been "Jackie" to me. So yay... there's one thing I didn't goof up. :)

This is no lie. When I first started scrapping (this is way back when Jacque when was at TDC), I thought Jacque was man. Oops. For some reason, I always thought Jacques - like Cousteau. Ha! How embarrassing is that?

BAHAHA! so funny! And Kate - you're British, so you TOTALLY can call me car-uh. Just goes along with the accent! HAHAHA

Me too, it's always been car-uh, I've never actually heard of care-uh. That's going to take a bit of getting used to.

I always said as a child that I was going to marry a Smith as I was forever spelling or correcting pronounciation of my maiden name, which was Heyland (hay-land). So many would spell it Hayland or Hyland, or pronounce it Hi-land. And don't get me started with the 'e' on the end of Kaye :giggle
So then silly here goes and marries a Winiecki!! What was I thinking??!! We get so many variations on that, it's crazy. We pronounce it winnie-key, not winnie-ecki

:giggle

Kaye - I always thought it was Win-ecki

Me too Tiki! Well darn it, I thought I was doing so well with Karah and Jacque. I had those two right.

I am still laughing about Laura thinking Jacque was a man! :rollin

I was doin' ok till Kaye threw her name in

Karah as in Sarah

Jacque has always been more like Jacque(as in Cousteau)-aye like Target Tarjaye...

Kaye was right but I was doing Win - icky

My name is fine but it's my "user name" that screws people up... no my name isn't Esther Boone is Estir_BunE pronounced E stir (like in cooking) bun E now say it together.. Easter Bunny! :)

bwahahaha I never had you as Easter Bunny, that is too funny! I've always thought it was Esther Bune (pronounced like Dune)

Oh yay! For the most part I've been good with pronunciations in my head matching what I would say aloud. I do think I may have been guilty of misspelling Karah's last name a time or two out of sheer non-attention to detail. And Kaye's was one I always just winged...so happy to know for sure. :)

My name is perpetually misspelled because it can so easily be spelled either way and commonly it is, so I just have learned to not be bothered by it, lol. I've decided it's just interchange-ably Sara with an h and Sara without so that my brain doesn't go on the fritz.

Ohmygoodness...how have I been misspelling it all this time rofl. It was so stuck in my brain the wrong way. You've always been Care-Uh to me. But now that I've seen it both ways, I will definitely be confused from now on rofl.

Sorry sweetie. Changed my credits.

OMG Claire, you SO don't need to go change all your credits! Just the one i your siggie.... HAHAHAHAHAH ;)

while i've never thought of you as a man, this is how i've always pronounced your name in my head too jacque! this will 100% weird me out until i retrain myself to read it as 'jackie'. :giggle

and kaye, i've always thought it was win-icky. so i was sorta close, but had the accent ing the wrong place.

REALLY?! LOL
My middle name is Lynn. But I'm not a Jacqueline. Just jacque (Jackie) Lynn. My parents had to be difficult. Actually. Most people don't get it wrong. Boys did tease me in jr high calling me jack or jacque like in Jacques Cousteau.
