Prompt 20
I made a layout of the fleeting moments of reading to my little guy. One day I was reading to him and now all grown up reading to himself - sad but happy!
And with that 20 layouts done for Moments That Matter. Thank you Lynn and Rachel for a fun January!

Thank YOU!

Thank you @LynnG and Rachel for these prompts. I loved that we were open to use any style and product from the two of you without a bunch of specific instructions as how many elements, papers, etc. to use. It has been fun seeing all the different interpretations of the prompts in others layouts. I completed them all -- now what will I have to look forward to on Wednesdays and Fridays?? LOL Anyway, I never figured out how to comment on others layouts on Substack and I find it a bit intimidating. I so wish these could be hosted through TLP.

Also, I notice several people have been posting a string of their layouts in this thread. I posted mine on Substack and in the galleries of both Lynn and Rachel but nowhere are they all posted together. Would you like all 20 of them posted together in a thread here or elsewhere?

Thanks Patsy :-) Yes, the chats have been quite busy! If you would like to post your layouts altogether here, it would be lovely to see them :-)

I made it! All 20 layouts! This month have been so much fun. Thank you @LynnG and @Rachel Jefferies for all the inspiration!!!! I got me some really great layouts made, and - if I'm allowed to be extremely un-Swedish and brag: got TWO of them featured on the Gallery Standout blog!

Love how the prompts has forced me to think, to dig up old memories, and to explore my mind. Stories I hadn't thought about scrapping and photos I had forgotten I had.

I'm too lazy to add all the layouts here - they're all in my gallery & I've posted them all over at Substack (which I might learn to understand how it works eventually :giggle) but I'll share my two favorites.

First for prompt 17 Small Victory. This was hard, my brain will only let me see my failures. But then it came to me. Learning to say no, and not just keep saying yes to please others was a victory for me.

And second: prompt 3 Only Five Things. That was a challenge for sure. I tend to use way more stuff on my layouts. But it was perfect for the message of this layout. Back story I didn't share: on Jan 3 my mother passed away. I haven't spoke to her for over 10 years (that's a very long story, I'll skip that). It was a weird day and I found that the prompt of only five things & my lack of feelings that day was a perfect match. This layout will be one of my all time favorites of layouts. It conveys it all perfectly.
