Day 30 Journaling Challenge - Connecting with Technology

Corinna and I have known each other for a long time, thanks to the ACO scrapbooking forum. We had seen each other once before in Paris, and when she suggested we meet again this summer, I said yes straight away: she was coming with her family from Germany (where she lives) on vacation to Southern Brittany. We arranged to meet at Bon Repos Abbey
and went for a lovely hike and then had a drink together.

 

I will add my journaling to the gallery. It looks like it is a bit difficult to read.

Fun challenge.

 

Journaling:
I joined an e-group for the Havanese breed of dog in early 2000.
I learned a lot about the breed and made connections with some
breeders. In late May I attended a dog show in Cincinnati and
met some members of the group. One of them posted a photo of
me with her dog to the group. The following weekend I went to a
dog show in Toledo and met Kim. She knew I was looking for a
puppy and said she had a boy available. Thus began a friendship
that has lasted almost 24 years! I got the puppy and 2 years
later added a girl puppy from Kim. After they died and I wanted
another one, Kim put me on the top of her list for her next
litter! There is a dog show in Lima every summer that Kim will
show a dog so I have gone several times to cheer her on.

But I just did this with my friendship page - now I have to think of something. Hmmmm...

 

I know - me too! LOL

 

I hate to be a downer, but can it be a downside of technology? Something keeps coming to my mind and I can't get it out of my mind that I should scrap it.

It was harder to think of a relationship that began as a result of technology for this challenge, but once I did, the journaling was pretty easy.
