The world is huge but with the dawn of internet everything suddenly got a lot closer. Years ago we could phone overseas at a huge cost, & letters took forever in the post (& even longer to get here!). Now we have Facebook & WhatsApp to keep in touch with family spread all over the globe. The internet also opened up the world of scrapbooking for me. It allows me to be a part of various creative teams. I started on sketch teams back in 2009 & a quilling team in 2019. In 2020 I progressed to Digital scrapbooking & am now on 6 different teams. Through my modem I have connected with lots of lovely people all over the globe & have expanded my friendship base tenfold. Life would be very dull without all my friends around the world.
