When do you start watching holiday movies? | Pad Patter 11.12.22

Hee, hee...I am almost always in big fluffy plaid shirt (I'm cold natured).

I think a lot of Christmas movies have a message of hope and magic. :tacklehug
 
I usually wait until Thanksgiving after the big meal-- we watch Christmas Vacation or Elf usually and then we decorate the tree the day after Thanksgiving with lots of Christas music playing.
 
We always do a Harry Potter watch-through leading up to putting up our tree. Once the tree is up, Christmas movies are fare game. We usually do the tree right after Thanksgiving. So far, we've watched all three Fantastic Beasts, and the Sorcerer's Stone. We're on Chamber of Secrets, so we have a lot of watching to do over Thanksgiving break!! LOL

I AM tempted to watch some of the cheesy Christmas movies on Netflix or whatever, though. But so far I haven't given in!
 
I've been watching them all year! But consistently since before Halloween... When hallmark released their new movies three times a week!!

You know, my hubby and I alway felt the Potter Series have a holiday vibe! We do like to watch the series when we are in a holiday vibe...but I love the series so much that they are watched all year long + holidays :D

I usually wait to Thanksgiving Day....but all the holiday movie talk put me in the mood....and I started watching yesterday - ha! I guess I should have saved this tread topic for a later time :p

Soooo true! I LOVE this series. Earlier this year I went back and revisited the books. I listened through all of the audio books of the original series of 7. So nostalgic!
