What is your favorite flavor of potato chips?

Honestly, I love most flavors of potato chips... yep, I'm a junk gut! :giggle

I will say that the store brand - Kroger kettle cooked jalapeño chips is my fav right now. They have a little kick but not too much and are so good. I think I like them better than the Lays name brand chips.

Honestly I’m super simple - Ready Salted. I used to like Sour Cream & Onion too but a lactose intolerance ended that.

Salt & Vinegar, specifically Lay's.
Sour Cream & Onion is my 2nd choice.

The first crunchy item I ate after getting my dental implants was a Lay's Salt & Vinegar potato chip.

I like cheddar cheese ones ... kettle chips
But honestly I'm a dipper and can't resist a good dip.. so basically all chips...lol except the darn baked ones they don't taste good to me

So, I wonder if its the salt mixed with the fizz...sometimes if I'm not feeling well, a bit nauseous maybe due to a migraine, but still feeling hungry (yes, it happens) or simply need to eat but have to go gently because of nausea...having a Diet Coke with Lays brand Classic Chips can help turn tide and get me feeling better. Chips are odd because the greasiness is supposed to do the opposite (be bad for an upset stomach). But something about the combo actually helps me.

When it comes to chips just to eat for pleasure, I have a preference for Doritos over potato chips.

I don’t keep potato chips on hand because I would eat them non stop. I like regular chips with French onion dip or any brand sour cream and onion chips.

oh yes, I don't like the baked ones either... funny texture and after-taste... eww!

This is me buying all the chips!

And then of course, I want to eat them all day! We joke not to open a bag of chips unless you want the whole bag gone, because every time we open a bag, it's gone just like that! And there's only 3 of us at home. :giggle I've started buying more of the smaller bags when they're on sale so we don't eat as many in one sitting.

I've heard the caffeine in coke helps relieve migraines. Good to hear adding potato chips to the mix works even better... it's not like I needed an excuse to eat more chips, but now I have permission. :giggle

I don't know how you waited. I would have sucked on the salt & vinegar chips and gummed them... I love chips that much! :giggle

I was on a soft food diet for 4 years before getting the implants. When the dentures didn't work I was actually without any teeth at all so the only thing even remotely crunchy I could have was cheese balls because I could smoosh them on my tongue. Couldn't do that with chips or pretzels or popcorn.

I don't eat a lot of chips, but when I do my favorites are these YUM!!!

I also like Salt & Vinegar chips :)

Just plain salted, or else salt and vinegar.

When I was expecting my son, I went through a horrible morning sickness phase (well, morning, noon, and night sickness phase, really) where I couldn't eat anything, couldn't keep anything down. For a couple of weeks, all I could eat were salted potato chips. I felt so worried and guilty (I'm supposed to be eating a fresh kale salad, but instead I'm eating a bowl of salted potato chips?!). My son is now a hale and hearty 20-year old, 6 foot 2 inches in height, so, you know, it turned out okay! But even though I still love salted potato chips, I cannot eat them without having flashbacks to that morning-noon-and-night sickness phase.

I like plain with Dean's onion dip if I can get some in the US but here at home I like Heluva Good dip. I also like sour cream and onion.
