I know what I want to do with this one. A photo of my and my son in the park with a photo of us there when he was a baby. My only problem is that I am currently stuck at home with covid so it’s going to have to wait a while. Something to look forward to at least.
That sounds like a great idea! So sorry you're stuck inside with covid! That was me the week before Christmas, then we were exposed again by a family member after Christmas and all had to quarantine again. I hope you're feeling ok!
Sentence: I was maybe 3 yrs old here with my Easter basket of goodies. I love that most of my childhood photos are happy ones.
I enlisted my parents for this one. The grandma I was named after (and I was born on her birthday) knitted these cuddly toys for me and my cousin. I have no active memories of her, she died when I was really little so this is a precious item and memory. My parents photographed the bunny since it is still staying at their place
I fussed way too much with the photos and the page, but I am finally happy with this. The smaller photo is a 'recreation' of the original picture with the Nutcracker in front of our tree, which is also 31 years old and yeah, wow, my photo skills have improved a lot over the years LOL
What a great challenge, thank you! I tried to put the still art of my original LO into a still art in our living room. Alos, the kit I used for this LO is the same as the one I used for the framed picture. It doesn't show the original LO to full advantage, due to the reflection, but I think (and hope) it still works.
@tkradtke I simply loved this challenge! I went along with the theme of an old camera, especially when I found three photos that went along with it: one of my Grandma holding it, a photo that I had taken of her while using the camera, and one of me holding it four years later. This is absolutely one of the favorite pages I've ever made!! I also put the journaling in the gallery because it might be hard to read here.
You can see the Christmas star in the last two photos and the beads are on the tree in all the tree photos but are very hard to see in the older images. And it's the same tree still too. Basically it's us at Christmas.
