Which sandwich team are you on and why?

Definitely team B for me. There is a greater chance that both halves will be equal! :giggle

Funny you would say that because I was thinking the same thing, cutting from corner to corner, instead of eyeballing the center... Great minds :giggle

I think I'm more a B girl. Though I like the look of A if I order a sandwich out, :giggle. I guess B was how I used to when growing up. I had a fun sandwich cutter for the kids that did 4 triangles, but otherwise they would get B also.

Definitely B - triangles! And then for the littles, diagonals the other way to have 4 triangles :)
If you are also having soup, the corners make for easier dipping :)

Diagonal. The soup reason that Jan said above. Also, because I can always fit the corner in my mouth. So, I can eat the corners and work my way into the middle. Something about it makes it easier than if I cut it down the middle.

Plus, for some reason the crust isn't as intimidating on a diagonal, so munchkin will eat more of the crust if it's diagonal, and less if I cut in the middle.

I generally prefer diagonal. It just feels easier to eat when you have a small corner to start from. I would cut down the middle for sandwiches I would pack in my daughter's school lunches though, since I had a hard time getting them in the sandwich bag without the sandwich falling apart if I cut diagonally.

I can't say that I've seen a burger cut in half. Now tenderloins that are on round buns are around here because they are huge!

I have a hard time keeping my burger from falling apart if I don't cut it in half. Everything just starts to slide. Probably has more to do with the amount of extras I insist upon piling upon it.

Not sure why my brain thinks this way- but A: MIDDLE is for COLD sandwiches. B: DIAGONAL is for hot/grilled sandwiches (grilled cheese... mmmm... )

my default is A and usually the bread we buy is a block loaf so square rather than rounded at the top like your image but at home i still cut 'rectangles'
(i make sandwiches for both kids every night for the next day at school but it's on rolls 90% of the time and i don't cut them at all so i'm a C perhaps really now - the only real reason i would cut on the diagonal now would be to be 'fancy', or years ago for Fairy Bread during birthdays. During my school canteen/tuckshop days, there was a hands-free sandwich cutting, diagonal guide thingo like this and so back then i woulda said B

I mostly cut on the diagonal when I cut them at all, but when I make a PB&J and don't cut it, I almost always end up with something on my face. :giggle

Same, Cheryl! I always cut my burger in half. It's usually too giant to pick up whole for me. Too messy too! :giggle
