NBK Design's Advanced Challenge 1st Feb - 29th Feb WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Thank you Anne for commenting on my behalf while my internet was down. Girls, you all ROCK with all your great Change Color effects. Thank you for taking up the challenge

Thanks for the challenge, Trish. I recoloured Josie's coat. She is a black-tri Aussie and I made a red-tri which is a recognized colour too.

Your colour change looks great Metchley, I'll bet she would win Best in Show with her new colour

Fabulous challenge Trish, and a great tutorial! Here's what I came up with.

What a perfect change of colour Anne, I wonder what mood she is in with her green eyes. Jealousy? LOL

Love your choice of color change Cheryl. Brown suits the mood of the sad girl
Thanks for the challenge! I also used a picture from Unsplash. I thought the girl looked sad, so I went with that. I changed the color of her hat from green to brown and did some coloring and other adjustments to the entire picture.

Here's my layout.

The only balloon in the original photo was the yellow/orange one. I duplicated it twice, resized and re-colored the duplicates. Do I also need to post the original photo?

Hi Sharron. Trish is offline at the moment, but I'll step in and say yes it would be good to see the original photo too. Not that we don't take your word for what you did - just that it's nice to see the difference :)

Here is mine, my sweater is rose colored. The altered hue/saturation effect (blue) is in the frame. And while I've used hue/saturation many times to change the coloring on something, I'd do the selection, then copy the selected piece into its own layer and then apply a hue/saturation. I never realized that I could apply the hue/saturation directly to the selection. Score!

LOL - I love it when that happens! I also like the placement of the doily on the snow. :)
