The cute countdown that @AJK has for MOC made me wonder.

Are you counting down to anything?

Me? January. Not only MOC, but Nick's schedule will calm down a little and get more predictable after the holidays.

A shorter countdown is the end of this semester. I've loved it, but I'm still ready to be done.

How about you?
 
I’m counting down to a few things at the moment, some with an end date and some without.

1) Midnight Sunday when I will have finished applying for 5 jobs that are due
2) December 9th (though that date may change) when I will have done my last job application for the year - Hard to believe I have 7 job applications “on the go” in December basically
3) Having my mum home again (maybe next week all going well but could be a bit longer) and getting back into a ‘normal’ routine again
 
I'm counting down to a 12-week long-term substitute teaching gig...but I don't know exactly when it'll start because it's for a pregnant teacher. She thinks she'll make it until winter break; the principal and I are planning on mid-December (when she's due!). It's odd to count down to something that doesn't have a set date. Or rather, I am counting down to her due date AND I'm counting down to the date she thinks she'll make it to lol.

I hope so too, I’m secretly hoping the offshore one in Australia will be a success that I found on from a link shared on twitter believe it or not - more $$ (think $35000-50000 more), more opportunities etc but still close to home (think I’d become potential neighbours to @bellbird) but we’ll see - after 4 years I’ve learnt not to get too hung up on a particular job so that I don’t have the huge emotional roller coaster with each interview and then rejection.
 
No countdown really but am looking forward to a new year, hopefully continue with the current care for Bailey as she seems to have settled in quite nicely at the carehome and I want to continue to organize and purge the household. I started it this past year and it feels good. We'll be ready to sell this house in a few yrs and its time to slowly start downsizing things that we don't need. We have things in closets that haven't been used in many years, no sense holding onto to them then.
 
The only thing I'm really counting down are the days until my son is home from deployment, but I'm not even sure when that will be exactly. So, I'm basically counting down until probably late summer.
Of course, I'm always counting down to the next school break haha
 
236 days until we (daughter and I) leave for Down Under. And yes, I have been counting since it was over 900 days.

Hoping to drag out the Christmas decorations and get my countdown going again. Advent calendar starts Sunday but my Becca cards started last Saturday (31 days). Time to get moving.

July? Enjoy! I’m sure where ever you end up down here will be amazing.Can only speak for New Zealand but my biggest tip, bring warm clothes that can be layered as it will be winter by then.
 
MOC 8!!! haha. I am counting down to a new school semester and after that will have my graduation date to count to. Also counting ( by faith) down to a final move to a large city for hubster and me as we buy our house and plant some roots!! :D

A few countdowns for me...I have had some potentially serious health issues In Oct. and Nov. and had several tests and counting down for 2 more...one is next week. I just want answers and relief. The other is a 3 month countdown to visit my daughter in Japan. I am excited abut that so I need to get better to go visit.
