This month our journaling challenge is to be inspired by the numbers. Choose a number that has meaning for you and use it to inspire your journaling. In my case, it is 73. That is the number of days that my son spent in the hospital after being born. It was a time filled with ups and downs but ultimately had a happy ending. Here is my page for a little inspiration: (credits in the gallery) The Rules: Pick a number and use it to inspire your journaling You must have at least 5 sentences of journaling The number must be featured in your title As always, please remember the regular monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the May Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I'm looking forward to reading about the numbers in your lives!
Good question. This is a journaling challenge so let's say 5 sentences. Thanks for asking. I will update the challenge rules.
What a great challenge, Heather. 73 days is a long time! What a blessing that everything came to a happy ending.
I work in the ambulant child-intensive care and look after former premature babies, and I'm happy for anyone who did well, and I am very touched by your journaling!
Here is mine, I combined it with the travel notebook tutorial from Christa ( @cfile ) because I had been dying to try that out. 5 sentences if you count the reflections in water typed on top of the photo.
you always seem to be in my mind about what I need or want to scrap Heather!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful challenge, I enjoyed so much making the page!!!!
