January 23 - Playing With Paper Strips

Hoping to get to this today, my son was diagnosed with the flu this am and my husband is home with a concussion he was hit by a school bus yesterday. I’ve got to very needy boys on my hands for the next several days.

I picked 2 photos from a photo session that my daughter took of my son and his husband. They needed some updated pro shots for their adoption portfolio so they had some fun last week in the Chicago Snow.

(My son is in the burgundy coat)....

@tw1717 I started a page last night with the same template, but mine is still a WIP :heartlub

@ellasspace Oh no! Did they give your son any anti-virals? Hopefully it's a mild version of the flu! ... and your poor husband :( Concussions are no fun. I'm glad he didn't have a more serious injury, yikes!!
 
Can these be used? Just want to double-check sooner rather than later.

It's so tough on us when our kids are sick. Hope he recovers fast. And WOW - I really hope your husband is alright! That is scary!!
 
Interesting challenge. I loved it because I was able to only use papers and didn't have to worry about elements. Yet, I like the dramatic look of the finished page. You all know how I love to feature art that I have seen -- could do whole books of these layouts. This was at Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas.
