January 1: Blind Scrap

Hello all my MOC Friends! Welcome to your FIRST challenge of MOCSeven - the Blind Scrap! For you newbies (or for those of you who are forgetful, like me) the Blind Scrap goes like this: I will post a list of instructions below. You must follow the instructions exactly - no more, no less than what's listed. You will have flexibility on HOW you interpret the instructions and how you scrap your page, but your page must follow the list as instructed. You will not see my page until AFTER MOCSeven has closed - the fun of the Blind Scrap is seeing how everyone interprets the instructions without seeing my page! Now that we have that out in the open, let's get down to scrapping!

  1. Start with a solid background paper (solid means solid - no patterns, no wood grain, no words, nothing but a plain background. Think of a lightly textured cardstock or kraft paper, if you were ever a paper scrapper.)
  2. Add one photo somewhere on your page. You can add a frame or stroke around the photo if you want - this is optional.
  3. Add a small amount of paint or a coffee circle/stain behind your photo.
  4. Add one or more flowers, and one or more leaves or branches, somewhere on your page. You may have one of each, or more than one of each.
  5. Add three buttons, flairs or brads
  6. Add some stitches
  7. Add a tag
  8. Add one optional element to your page (this can be an extra of something already listed, or something not listed here)
  9. Use a piece of word art as your title
  10. Include at least five words of journaling (NOT word art) on your page
  11. Include the date somewhere on your page

To recap the rules:
  • You must follow the list as indicated above. No more, and no less, than what's listed.
  • If there is word art on your frame, tag, flair, or your optional element, please indicate that in your credits so I can tally the elements you used properly.
  • Please list your optional element in your credits
  • If I have any questions as to whether you followed the list, I will message you for clarification on what is used on your page
General Requirements:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
  • Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
  • Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
  • Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).

It's January 1 - let the fun begin!!

Styles do not count toward your one extra element
Templates count as 15% of your overall page

MOC7 - January 1 Blind Scrap
Working on my sons graduation book. All products, except one (smiley face button), are from various Storyteller files 2017-2019. My extra element is the "This is really, really, really good" tag.

Solid Background.
One photo with a frame.
Paint.
One flower with a branch.
Three buttons.
Stitches (barely perceptible....its the orange to the left of flower and on the right side of the frame, and on the buttons).
One tag, with the date, in my optional bookplate.
Begin is my title. Cut from RJ’s Silent Battles, Exhaustion.
Journaling: 5 words....present. in the moment. today.
