Hey There Everyone...I Have A Quick Question?...I Have Noticed That Certain People Have Made Layouts For These Challenges That Do Not Include Kits/Items From The Lilypad Store At All & Definitely Does Not Comply To The Gallery Rules...Is That Something We Are Allowed To Embrace For These Challenges Only?...Thanks RJMJ...

The gallery rules apply to everything uploaded, and I can tell you from my experience as a Guest Polly that the Pollys are very good at monitoring this.

I wouldn’t necessarily assume they don’t comply because a lot of current designers participate in collaborations with designers at other stores, give out newsletter freebies, have sold product at a previous store that isn’t in The Pad’s store, and they also have a lot of retired products we are allowed to use.

These are allowed for regular challenges and count towards the 75% requirement. It’s only during MOC that you have to use products CURRENTLY for sale in the shop. Non-challenge-related layouts only need 50% of TLP designers’ products; no matter where they come from.

These challenges are just for fun ... a little technique or design idea to try if you are interested. But any layout uploaded to the TLP gallery should have at least 50% TLP product. If it is not MOC or some other specific rules for a specific challenge (like how the BYOC challenge requires BYOC product and 3 designers) it can be TLP designer freebies or retired stuff from current designers.

They should be retired products that were in the TLP store.
Remember half of what you use can be anything! I think that's a perfect compromise - enjoy creating and sharing! :beat
