TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

I am looking forward to one of those rare weekends at my house where we have nothing on the schedule! Woot! Other than making a BYOC video to share with all of you, I plan to spend time relaxing, reading and kissing my new puppy. Ohhh - and scrapping!! I am finishing up my 4th page with this amazing BYOC!

You have a new puppy? I love puppies!

Our annual camping trip in the Redwoods starts this Sunday. But, I just sprained my knee. Combine that with my slipped disc & I'm so nervous! I'm a tough girl though.

I'm also looking forward to scrapping with more BYOC on Saturday. The colors are just too gorgeous & each designer has done such a wonderful & unique job.
 
yay for relaxing weekend and new puppy :). what breed do you have?

we have a birthday party tomorrow. Filip, my older boy turns 10 on Sunday.. a little bittersweet.. hubby then takes him out for a movie in the evening while I'll stay home with the younger one.

Sunday hopefully will be relaxing in our house, too!

We really don't have much on our agenda, either. GS wants to go to GameStop. He got a gift card for his birthday and is anxious to spend it. We'll probably take him tomorrow. He'll probably swim a lot - it's very hot and the pool is so warm.

@jesskab take care of yourself. Ouch! I can't wait to see what you do with BYOC. I haven't decided on what I'm getting yet.
 
What breed is your puppy? You can't beat puppy cudles!
We have nothing planned, but the weather is glorious so prob end up with a BBQ on the beach at some point:yup Love living near the beach!
I will definitely factor in some scrapbooking (+ wine) time too :wine
 
Puppy! Love puppies--as long as they are someone else's.

Family dinner to celebrate my SIL's retirement, and more driving practice for my oldest who is turning 16 really soon. And scrapping. . .hopefully.
 
I'm watching a friends kids this afternoon so she can get her classroom ready (Teacher).
Other than that,
Making pot stickers for dinner and extra for freezing.
Scrapping more with BYOC. I made 7 pages, and figure I have another 3-4 at least! I really really love this one. It's one of my favorites.
Hanging out with Cheryl Saturday night which should be full of giggles and interesting stories. Come join us if you are around!
Play with Acdsee. It's on sale until the 8th. I'm determined to figure out this weekend if it's the answer to that everlasting question: How to manage scrap supplies.....

My baby just turned 10!
Quiet weekend here too. My 13 year old has been at a bible boot camp, and gets home Saturday with piles of muddy laundry.
Having 3 couples over tonight for food and fellowship.
Hoping to get to pool both days.
 
We staycationed our faces off last weekend so we (and the bank account!) are chillin' this weekend. I'm not sure what we'll be doing aside from church Sunday morning. I have a couple of things we COULD do but we'll see if we make it out of our jammies. :giggle
 
Quiet but very sad weekend planned for me - Saturday is my son's last full day at home before boot camp. I already cooked him a seafood dinner the other night. So Saturday he asked for fillet mignon and shrimp cocktail. We need to get him a nice dress shirt - he out grew the one we bought him for his Sr photos already. I wish I could say we will be out by the pool hanging out but the weather looks horrible - rainy and thunderstorms all day.

And then by Sunday ... I'll just be in shock. Not sure what time we have to drop him off at the recruiters. Monday we can drive up to Albany to see him get sworn in again - and then he'll be on a flight down to Parris Island SC. How did this day get here so soon? :( :shakehead

At least today he and a friend went down to the Jersey shore for some beach, boardwalk and wave runner fun.
 
Awwwww puppy breath!! Love new puppies! My daughter just got one too, but I don't know what she's thinking with an almost 2 year old and new baby on the way in December lol

I have nothing on the agenda this weekend, thankfully! I have not finished unpacking and putting away laundry from last week, and my house is a wreck. So I hope to get that cleaned up, do some scrapping, hang out at Cheryl's chat, and relax!

A lot of alone time! I have moved a few things off of my laptop so hopefully I have enough space to do some scrapping!

My husband is currently in Dubai. My son works tonight, tomorrow night and open to close on Sunday. And it's Lollapalooza weekend here for my daughter and her friends (Thursday through Sunday)... they usually leave mid afternoon and get back here around 11pm. Tomorrow she has to work 6am to 1pm before she heads to Lolla. I have a feeling she will sleep all day on Monday (did I mention that she was also just put in a boot for a foot injury?).

Oooohh... I'll have to remember that! It'll be fun to hang out with friends :-)
 
Nothing on the agenda here as I just finished cleaning as I don't want to worry about it next week as I need to call Sunday after 5pm to see if I have jury duty on Monday.

Your puppy Oscar @lmccandless is precious!!! Hope you are still celebrating your birthday!!
 
Tomorrow (saturday) morning I’ll be preparing food for our trip to Zwitserland; I’ll pack the last bagage for our holiday and sunday morning we’re leaving for our summer holiday!

Busy day tomorrow but after that I hope I have lots and lots of time to relax

HUGS to you, lady! I know you are proud and happy and sad all at once. It's a weird feeling to watch your kids actually do what you have trained them for all those years to do.

I'm on call this weekend and trying to get ready for the 1st day of school Monday! EEP!
 
Nothing much going on here - dd is away for the weekend, ds is visiting other ds, hubby is doing landlord things - so I am scrapping!!! Might even squeeze in some traditional scrapping too.
 
well I was meant to go to a computer class this morning but my foot is too sore so I pulled out of that. My only other plans are a quick grocery store trip and joining Cheryl, Courtney & company for their chat tomorrow night
