TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

It’s a long wkend so tomorrow we’ll visit family in the morning, go up to spend the afternoon with Bailey at the hospital and then have the evening to relax and hang out with my hubs. Then Sunday and Monday I’ll edit photos from a recent birthday party and really want to scrap a page or two. I’ll be watching “Love Is” on my laptop. We’ll go up around dinner time to visit more with Bailey each night. I want to fit in a weight lifting session too at some point.

@lmccandless your pup is adorable. Puppy time is so much fun!
@jesskab hope you recover quickly.

We are going into town today to take Keaton and Mackenzie to the Sea Life Centre, lots of laundry and some house chores to catch up with later and I normally work in the evenings once the little ones are in bed but today I plan to take the evening off and watch a movie with Hubby, I've been busy designing and doing admin getting ready for my shop opening lately and we haven't spent much time together!

Lazy weekend full of reading, scrapping, laundry (which I love), grocery shopping and watching Netflix.
I also should do some paint scraping.

DH took off work yesterday and we went to Philadelphia. We hung out as a family during the day and at night I went to a live show for a podcast I love while DH and the kids stayed behind at the hotel. While waiting to get in, I ended up chatting with two women (they were friends with each other) and I just clicked with them. They actually saved me a seat next to them for the show (it was general admission, but we had VIP tickets and there were rows reserved for us. We sat front row!). Afterward we ended up going to karaoke. The whole night was a blast!

This morning DH, the kids, and I grabbed breakfast and then headed back home. Our original plan for today was to wander around the city, but it started pouring right after we finished breakfast and I just didn't think rain + city + kids would be fun. Anyway, I guess my point is that my big weekend plans all happened yesterday lol. Good news is, now we can hang out at home all weekend. And frankly, I need to just sit and chill. I couldn't fall asleep right when I got back (too amped on all the fun), and then, when I did fall asleep it wasn't good sleep. The icing on the cake was the kids waking up at 4:30! I think this afternoon will be a movie for them and a nap for me.

Had a BIG party for my hubby last night at the house. He turned 40! Today we recovered and did a few projects around the house. Tomorrow is church, meetings and my older girls have an event tomorrow night that we have to go to. It's been pretty good!

Aw... sending you big squishy hugs (and kleenex) @jenn mccabe

I had a lovely weekend at home with not much planned. We had some friends in town for the day on Saturday, so I went to another friends house for dinner with them... otherwise I spent a blissfully huge amount of time behind my computer, watching Netflix and scrapping. I haven't been able to do that in I don't even know how long and it was much needed because the chaos of soccer tryouts and school starts up.
