Me: What do you remember about being outside before you came to live with us?

Mačka: I remember being able to do whatever I wanted. I used to climb trees and hang out with my two brothers that took care of me. I used to hide in the wishing well decoration that is in the backyard. It was very cold outside too.

Me: Yes. I remember that winter. It was negative forty degrees out. So very cold. I am so happy you stayed safe.

Mačka: You should have brought me in before winter came.

Me: Yes we should have brought you in sooner. But you never did let us get even close to you. Besides we still had Charlie our ferret and I was afraid you would try to eat or kill him.

Mačka: I am offended that you would think I would hurt Chuckers. He was a silly fellow and I quite enjoyed watching his antics. I miss him.

Me: We miss him too. What do you miss most about being outside?

Mačka: I miss my brothers and being able to do whatever I want whenever I want. I also miss not having to deal with Sherlock. Why did you decide to bring me in when you did?

Me: I thought I was the one asking the questions today. I wasn’t the one that decided to bring you in. That was Michael all on his own. I don’t know what came over him but one minute he was feeding you cold cuts, and the next minute he had you in the kitchen.

Mačka: I was not happy with him at all. I didn’t know what the heck was happening. I had to defend myself somehow so I bit and scratched him.

Me: Yes, you did mess him up. Do you feel bad about that?

Mačka: No, not at all! He deserved it. I do regret getting away from you and hanging from the currents however. Although it was kind of fun.
