Journaling reads: The whole clan was planning to surprise Mamalyn for her 60th birthday in Hawaii. Unfortunately, it would mean having to miss your graduation from pre-school. We explained what a milestone graduation was; but we made sure that it was going to be YOUR decision to make on whether you were going to miss it or not. The thought of going to the States proved to be to exciting a prospect for you and you readily chose the trip instead of walking on stage with your classmates.
