JOURNALING: Anyone who looks at my gallery probably will be able to guess why I use the screen name Pups_r_Paps - I have three Papillon dogs often featured on my scrapbook pages. My oldest Pap is Bijou, whom I adopted in 2003 from D’Vine Papillons in Kansas. Bijou and I have a special bond. He has his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) award and we’ve taken agility and nose-work classes together. He always seems to be smiling. (cont.)
The other two Papillons are from Florida and were show dogs. I was fortunate to show Beaux D, our little dynamo, to his championship, so he’s officially - “CH Caprices None But the Brave”.
Trooper, Caprice’s Quiet Man, was just one win away from getting his championship when he developed cancer and had a leg amputated. Although that ended his show career, it hasn’t seemed to affect him at all – ask the squirrels he likes to chase in our yard! I think he’s faster on three legs.

I've always suspected that your screen name had something to do with Papillons, and now I know the entire story. I've always thought this was one of the most beautiful breeds around and I envy you your three beautiful Papillon pups. Lovely page.
Love the "siggie" title. The color scheme is very "spring-like" and nice to see after sub-zero temps/wind chills and snow. The pics of your pups are darling.
