@norton94 So once a week, I get my orchids out of their "pretty" planter they have a cheapo plastic planter that they live in with a few holes in the bottom. I fill up the pretty planter with room temperature water then put the orchid back in there. It will be in this much water for 15 mins. Then I dumped the water from the pretty planter and put the orchid (with the cheapo plastic planter) back in there for 5 mins to drain the excess water. 5 mins later, I dump the extra water in the pretty planter and put my orchids back where they usually live. (I do all this messy stuff in my kitchen sink).
