When I was a child, in the school yard, the children looked and judged my brother wrongly. Saying, he was doing weird things. But I did not find it strange. He was my brother and for me he was like everyone else.
A few years later, specialists said: your brother is dysphasic. Yeah, if you want; my brother is especially my brother and that's all.
Yet he has something special, something of his own; but it is this something that makes it so unique and endearing.
The story loves to repeat ... Today, I happen to be a mother of two children who also have a little something special: one is high potential and the other is autistic. They do not see the world as I see it, and so ... It makes them unique and truly extraordinary. And I'm proud to be their mother of little zebras and proud to be the big sister of another zebra.
