Journaling -
Mother’s Day at Bertucci’s! Jake’s favorite
restaurant. It doesn’t have to be fancy in
our family though. In fact, the less fancy the
better. I’m not a big fan of Hallmark holidays,
and being forced to express feelings on
a designated date. I’ve had so many moments
with my mother, that are only a look, or
an expression, or a squeeze of a hand, a
hug, that I hope she knows how much she
means to all of us without a store bought
card, or a fancy, wrapped gift,
although of course, she got that too. Life is
short, and I’m good with every day being
Mother’s Day - I’ll take it for as long as I can.
